Pros: Price and ease of installation. You just plug it in, that's it. The IR receiver is unobtrusive and doesn't extend any further than the front of the PS3, either.
Cons: You can't turn the PS3 on or off; you can only control the movies. Since I have to get up to put the movie in this is no biggie. Can't really think of any others, although a nicer looking remote would be nice, but I don't care as I only needed the receiver.
Overall Review: I'll say Sony's BT remote is better since it will turn the PS3 on or off, but it's not IR which some people really want. I got this for the IR receiver so that I could use my Harmony remote. It works wonderfully although I had to program the Harmony using the learning function. I'm now in Blu-Ray heaven!!
