Ok people FYI1/19/2006 12:01:14 PM
Pros: Extremely fast ram 2-2-2-5 timings are awesome
Cons: none that i see
Overall Review: Ok because this keeps coming up, the reason they detfault to 2.5-3-3-6 is because the default mobo voltage is 2.6v, you need to change it 2.8v in order to get the 2-2-2-5 speeds, if they set it 2-2-2-5 and your mobo defaults to 2.6v your comp would prolly not even boot, so they do it to make sure everyone comp will boot, then you can change the timings yourself.
one other thing to the guy below, YOU RAM IS NOT AT 7.5 VOLTS!!!, it would probably explode at the voltage, these babies can take up to 3.2-3.4v if you know what your doing though.
Cons: If you can't adjust the voltage on your board to 2.8V on VDIMM then you will have an unstable system. Although it's spec'd to run at 2.6, I talked to tech support and they say 2.8 min.
Overall Review: Good ram if you feel like messing with voltage settings. I got the Plat. edition and it runs smoothly on 2.6V. I can't adjust with my mobo :-/

Awsome1/9/2006 10:17:48 AM
Pros: *update*
This ram is insane i just got dfi lanparty Ut ultra-D motherboard and i have this ram running at ddr460 running,
1.5-2-2-2 @3.0V and it was stable in memtest for 8 hours straight..For the price its Excellent!
Cons: What more can you want? ddr460 and sandrasoft showing 6100mb/s bandwidth...
Overall Review: Fedex Rules!

Pretty good stuff9/15/2005 10:42:00 AM
Comments: I purchased this on 08/10/05. It is running on a DFI SLI-DR board with an A64 San Diego 3700+ at 246 MHz (DDR 490, essentially). It is able to maintain 2-2-2-5 timings at this speed (@3.4 V) w/no errors in Memtest86 after 12 hours or so. It gets pretty hot, so I would definitely recommend active cooling (ie, fans on the RAM) if you're going to raise the VDimm over 3.2V or so. I haven't really tried to overclock it much higher b/c my processor can't do much more than 2.7 GHz stable (at least on air cooling). Overall, I am quite pleased with the performance of this RAM.

Pretty Good Stuff3/7/2006 3:30:34 PM
Pros: I got a stable overclock of 235fsb 1:1 at 3.2vdimm with an x2 3800. Any more voltage makes it start failing memtest, specifically test 7 and games will crash.
Cons: Gets very hot when overclocking. Was hoping for higher because I've read a review on extrememhz.com where they got up to 258mhz.
Overall Review: My gigabyte board only allowed 2.8vd and its stated that 2.8 is the minimum required but I've had two different sets fail at this voltage. I bought a DFI lanparty ultra-d instead for more vlts.
Pros: Extremely fast ram 2-2-2-5 timings are awesome
Cons: none that i see
