Dosent work as advertised 10/4/2008 9:45:09 AM

Pros: Its pretty

Cons: This ram wont hold stable on an ASUS P5Q3 on 1600 or 1333. This RAM was on the QVL list , but mysteriously droped off of the QVL list after 2 days after I got the RAM from newegg, and after I sent in the rebate. I tried to set timings at 1333 at 7-7-7-24 and 1.70 volts like OCZ told me to. It ran 1333 for a bit. It would cause my system to lock up compleatly when I would game. So basically I am stuck running at 1033 which is a shame. Whats worse is that I was a huge proponed of OCZ since I have their Powersupply, and cpu cooling fan

Pros: Fast!! I bought some lower priced DDR3 before buying this stuff and man this stuff rocks. It set the timings correctly, I had to set the FSB to 1333 which I dont have a problem with. It runs a LOT cooler compared to the corsair xms3 that i had. I mean read the reviews on their website bt other companies. This stuff is quality.

Cons: none so far.

Overall Review: Buy it.

Good RAM 6/2/2008 8:17:09 AM

Pros: Nice and stable. 1600MHz = fast. Good RAM overall.

Cons: Most motherboards don't auto-configure it correctly, which is why people experience issues. My Maximus Extreme detected DDR3-1333, 8-8-8 and 1.76V (if I remember these specs correctly) which I couldn't for the life of me get to boot without an instant BSOD. A few minor tweaks in the BIOS and it's up and running perfectly at standard specs. Ran memtest overnight with no issues.

Overall Review: Fantastic RAM, but you better know what you're doing if you want it to run properly, cause most motherboards certainly don't.

Good, cheap memory 5/19/2008 9:46:57 AM

Pros: Good memory, I've overclocked mine stable @ 1780MHz.

Cons: It's not 1600 default, it's actually 1333MHz default. Overclocking is necessary in order to attain actual speed rating.

Overall Review: Good for the money, just wish it was actually 1600MHz but it's stable @ 1780 so I'm not complaining.
