Mitutoyo® digital calipers are essential tools for manufacturing inspection, enabling precise measurement of objects. The measuring range is 0 to 300 mm (0 to 11.8 inches) in increments of 0.0005 inches ( 0.01 mm). Mitutoyo® digital calipers offer enhanced accuracy, featuring an Advanced On-Site Sensor (AOS) electromagnetic induction sensor and are resistant to dust, oil, and water. They also feature a depth probe that slides along the rod to measure depth. Many models support switching between standard and metric units. Some models can output readings to a computer or printer for recordkeeping. While faster, simpler, and more accurate than dial calipers, they are also more complex mechanically and electronically, and less resistant to coolant.
