Hoover LiNX Cordless Stick Vacuum Platinum Collection BH50010

Pros: The best cordless vac I have tried. The battery lasts a sufficient time to do a quick vacuum of the main floor. Suction is excellent and does a good job next to wall. Very good at picking up pet hair. The remanufactured one works fine. All parts including battery and charger were included. Used daily and no problems at all so far.

Cons: No real cons - very slight scuffing on base as expected.

Pros: We have three Labrador retrievers, one of which sheds a great deal. We bought a different, well-reviewed stick vac about a year ago to avoid the high cost of the Hoover Platinum Linx. It was barely adequate and frequently clogged with dog hair. Finally, I gave up on it and decided to try the Linx. What a difference! The added power of the 18 volt system and better airflow design are obvious. No clogs and generally better pick-up. I couldn't be happer about that.

Cons: The one drawback is the small capacity of the collector. I often have to empty it twice to finish the dog room. On the other hand it isn't much smaller than the other unit; it just collects LOTS more.

Pros: I purchased this after reading lots of good reviews on other websites. Even with such good reviews, the vacuum cost more than I wanted to spend on a stick vac. I decided to go for a remanufactured one, which saved me about $40. You can definitely tell that the vacuum has been used before, because there are scuff marks on the sides and base of the vacuum, and there was still a little bit of dust in the plastic cup. Other than these minor issues, the vacuum has functioned flawlessly so far. It makes my daily cleanups of dog hair much more convenient.
