Overall Review: I already have a bigball, bought this for my wife since bigball is too heavy for her. The bigball has more power than v7 significantly, but for normal use, v7 is enough. This price is really good, although it is refurbished, but it looks like new. Very good deal!

Pros: Charges quickly (about 3 hrs from dead-to-full). In regular mode battery lasts about 30min, Turbo, about 15-20. That's total run-time with trigger on constantly. If you use as intended, trigger on only when cleaning, the battery will last twice that long. Suction on normal is good for most general cleaning, picking up lots of dog/cat hair, and dirt from bare and carpeted floors. But for serious cleaning, like corners and baseboards, use the Turbo mode -as it has about twice the suction power. Attachments are easy to snap into place, and comes with a wide-variety of assorted brushes, 2 power-brushes, assorted tubes, etc. Bonus!!!... great for cleaning car interior and trunk - does a great job there. Easy to clean, empty, and maintain. Wall charger is awesome, making it super easy to store and charge!

- Quiet / Much quieter than a plug in style vacuum even when on high mode.

Cons: Battery requires you to remove three screws to take it off. This makes changing the battery on the fly impossible.

Overall Review: This is my first experience with a cordless vacuum and I am impressed. Dyson thought of almost everything. The components swap out with a push of a button. On the large roller the motor to turn it is built inside the roller preventing it from collecting dirt. The roller brushes pull out of the roller housing for easy cleanup. The entire thing runs with just two reusable filters. If you accidentally push the dump bin button it will not dump, you have to lift up the filter head up before the bin will open so you really can't do it by accident. The long reach tools while compact will extend to to nearly 5 feet giving you plenty of reach. The variety of included tools make this a very capable vacuum. It also has auto shut off if the hose becomes too clogged or the bin is too full, this will keep the motor from burning out. Another cool features included a diagnostic light that tells you what is wrong. Last the suction on this is very nice, was able to fill the bin the first time i vacuumed my living room and I do that weekly. Hope this helps. Highly recommended!

Cons: the only thing i am having problem here is the battery, it says up to 20 minutes on power mode and 30 minutes on normal mode, but when i am using the power mode, it only last 10 minutes, so each 10 minutes you need to recharge it. if you don't have a big house, just for apartment, that's fine, but you need to keep it charge.

Pros: this is an awesome stick vac. It was greatly reduced because it was sent to the factory for a defect. It looks and feels brand new and just because it went back to the factory doesn't mean you should avoid it. Items returned for reconditioning are getting a more thorough going over than an original assembly line product. I was more than happy to purchase it for about half the original price.

Cons: It takes a little getting used to a smaller, quieter vacuum that is more powerful than the big one.

Overall Review: I would highly recommend this product to others. I would also buy one again but, I don't think I will have to for a few years. I have the ball vac and am very happy with that. I was also reconditioned and I havent't had any problems with it either.

All accessories are clearly used:
-HEPA filter is scratched quite severely. I'd imagine the previous owner's cat took ownership of it with all the scratches and gouges in the plastic. Dyson logo decal, faded and partially removed.
-Bin was loose
-Battery does not reach its full capacity
-Plastic molding almost looks as if it was broken and repaired in places.

It felt like someone used this vacuum for 6+ months and returned it, Dyson turned it on, ran it for 30 seconds and called it Refurbished.

Biggest annoyance was how loose the bin felt to the unit, compared to other "new" Dyson units it just felt flimsy. Turns out a few screws were loose and I fixed that, but certainly not something I expect as a "Certified Dyson"

When working with customer service, I made the comment about these cons while inquiring about product registration, and got a canned troubleshooting response, so don't expect much on that accord either.
I also find the battery life less than advertised. The advertised 30 minutes, is more like 15-20 minutes. Its pretty clear the battery is used because beneath the ink jet printed label with the serial number, is the units original serial number. Pretty classy white mailing label they used here too, bigger than the normal place the sticker goes so its already gathering lots of debris around the corners since.

Overall Review: For the right price, and really if not more than 50% sale price, its not worth it, you get a limited 6 month warranty versus the full Dyson warranty, and risk getting a heavily used product that they call "refurbished."
While the unit does work well, with the reduced battery life is a major ding against it. Plan on over $100 for a replacement battery if yours doesn't suit you. Doubtful they will warranty battery life beyond the 6 month warranty, even though it "should" last for years.

It all boils down to price, if you shop around, this unit is on clearance you can find it new for as low as $300-350. Sure, you may save yourself $50-100 buying Dyson Used, I mean Dyson Refurbished, in the long run you may pay more replacing the battery or other parts.

Overall, for a name like Dyson, I expected a high quality refurbishment process, but that's not what I got here, and is reflected in the overall satisfaction of the product and Dyson name.
