Cons: A 3-5 day expected delivery turned into a 3 week delivery.
Due to the delay in delivery I attempted to cancel the item to order a better one instead, but no cancellation was possible even though the item had not been fully processed or shipped.

Overall Review: Dyson products are great, but I recommend buying in-store rather than online. Online processing was horrible for me.

Pros: Its a Dyson V8 Animal - Operation as expected except for battery.

Cons: Unfortunately the description of this item failed to mention that these are B grade refirbs as indicated on the shipping box. There is no mistaking that some items are well used "scratched and marred". Don't expect open box resale quality. This refirb item is NOT RETURNABLE so you have to accept what you get. It would be interesting to know what they consider to be an acceptible battery cycle count on their refirbs as I am seeing less than 15 minutes of use on full charge low suction with the small motorized head ... should be about 25 per the documentation. For the price of this refirb I should have picked up a new V7. Given the opportunity to make the choice again .... I would do that as I think I will need a new battery shortly. If I purchase an authenic Dyson battery as a replacement my total investment is about 80% of the cost of a brand new V8. Not much savings here.

Hold charge well and I have vacuumed with my SV10 for over 30 minutes on standard mode without a complete battery drain. The charge is rated at 40 minutes but I have not had vacuumed that long because this cleans the house faster than my old Dyson.
Easy to read blue indicator lights let you know how much of a charge the vacuum cleaner has.
Purchased this refurbished vacuum cleaner at half the cost of a new one.

Cons: Packaging. The box looked like a bigger box cut down and taped to fit this vacuum cleaner. The package was crushed, ripped, and had holes in the corner of the box. However, the vacuum cleaner and all the accessories were not damaged.

Overall Review: This vacuum is ideal for cleaning cat scratching posts as the rotating brush head will fit and swivel easily cleaning the post.
This vacuum picks up dirt and pet hair faster than my old Dyson vacuum cleaner resulting in quicker vacuuming time.
