I have two different style in my house and it was not possible to adapt light to either fixture short of removing recessed lighting fixture and drilling hose and adding screws. Not easy installation in my book. In short stick with a LED bulb, which is a easy installation.

Cons: It is Not instant on, there is a 1 to 2 second delay

The light is definitely White. There is no warmness tone to it whatsoever.

Pros: Installation was easy, they replace the baffle and trim on a standard 6" can. The 4000K is perfect, better than the warm lights that seem depressing and better than the bluish tint from colder lights. These are like natural sunlight and have a good dispersion pattern.
Cons: Only con is that the wires exit the housing right in between the spring steel mounting pins. Have to be careful not to pinch the wires while pushing the light into the can.
Overall Review: Definitely recommend, especially when on sale.
