Question 1

Is this a noise-canceling microphone? Is the microphone quality good?

No noise cancelling that I'm aware of. My coworkers have told me that of the half dozen mics I've used for meetings and such, this one sounds the clearest and closest to how my voice actually sounds in person. I have only ever used it in a (relatively) quiet office/room, so I can't speak for how it would handle a lot of external noise.

Question 2

Does this have surround sound?

99% of headsets (including this one) are stereo. Surround is usually simulated by a mixamp or your soundcard and will work fine on ANY stereo headphones if you have the capabilty. Actually ASTRO has a great description of how they simulate surround with their headsets, ALL of which are stereo.

Question 3

I just got this headset 2 months ago and it was working fine, then all of a sudden the Mic would not pick up. I've checked everything and it just doesn't want to work. Is there a way to fix this?

Did you accidently trip on the cord a few times maybe ?
Or slam the headset on your desk after a rage quit ?
My previous set lasted 18 months till I did that.  : )

Question 4

Why wont the mic on this headset pick up my voice? When I used my Turtle Beach, it worked instantly, So I know it's not my settings, audio ports, or even the splitter cable, so the problem is with the mic itself.

Sounds like a bad unit.  My mic works perfectly so far.  I would RMA.
