Pros: I am so sick of those other brand tinny wussy monitor stands that can barely hold 18 pounds and still sag. This Vivo stand holds my 32 inch 22 pound ACER monitor rock solid and it stays right where I put it... when I let go of the monitor it doesn't sag 3 inches, it doesn't sag 2 inches, it doesn't even sag 1/4 of an inch. You position the monitor on this beast once and it stays rock solid right in that place. As soon as you pick this arm up after it is delivered to your house and touch it you will know it is a high quality well-machined piece of hardware. The base plate which sits on top of the desk is heavy duty aluminum. I don't like bolting C-clamps to my desk edge which does not have much of a lip to clamp on to so I drilled out (ie drilled through) the 4 threaded holes in the aluminum base plate and simply ran four 2" wood crews through the base plate and down into my oak desk to anchor the arm, my modification worked perfect.
Cons: No cons.
Overall Review: I ordered this monitor arm on Sunday using free shipping. I had it on Wednesday. This Vivo unit is the new standard for making strong single arm monitor stands especially well-suited for all Neanderthal men... like me.
