Pros: Incredible picture after adjustments.
Excellent built in sound.
Broad set of features and customization options.
The Magic Remote is easy to use.
The Included stand is sturdy and heavy.

Cons: Very slight non uniformity with a pure white image. varies by viewing angle.
Features are buried deep in menus and from what we have found some are undocumented.
Some functionality such as Alexa and advanced audio features require multiple steps. It may literally take you hours to completely set this TV up.
Some popular apps such as CBS All Access and AIrTV are unavailable. Some popular apps have limited features.

Overall Review: We received a new unit double boxed, a recent revision assembled in Mexico. Some assembly is required, The stand comes in 2 pieces. We found it easier to simply lie the TV face down on a bed than to follow the LG assembly instructions. Contrary to information posted online, the stand is well over 10 inches deep. Initial setup takes nearly 30 minutes. The default picture settings are good. Settings are adjustable by input and the improvements are significant. A pure white image is the most uniform we've ever seen and a pure black image is indistinguishable from turned off. The remote uses a convenient mouse pointer as an option and can control some other devices such as a Roku. Long pressing a number key creates a shortcut to that channel, app or input. The built in sound is excellent and can be used with the optical out .Bluetooth headphones are supported. Apps open much quicker than apps on any set top box or stick. Content is broad but not unlimited. This TV is a terrific value!
