2. If the remote control can’t work with red LED lit, please reconnect the remote control with the lamp:
Step 1: Disconnect charging cable to cut power source
Step 2: Long press the switch button on the remote control till you finish step 3
Step 3: Plug in the charging cable to connect power
The remote control is paired successfully with the lamp if the LED indicator flashes. You can check if the remote control can function properly by then.

Pros: Arrived 2 weeks ago, and we use it everyday with the upright torchiere for general light in the living room. The remote is really handy! We use the warm color setting and less than half brightness for watching TV and whiter and brighter when needed for more light. The side light is not as bright, but plenty good for reading on the middle color setting. The metal gooseneck holds it in place right where I need it for reading.
Cons: I guess it looks a little modern in our 1960's house, but I like that. No real cons yet, we will see how long it lasts. IMPORTANT: be sure to cut the tight shrink wrap plastic from the battery before you put it in the remote or it will not work!
Overall Review: This was packaged very well in a styrofoam block and amazingly small. Setup was easy, just screw the 6 upright pole sections together. The wiring was already threaded through so it was easy. It's probably best to start threading the sections from the top down. The base weighs 6.5 pounds, so it is stable when setup. The finish is a nice black crinkle finish that seems pretty tough. It seems to be a good quality product that works well.
