Pros: Screen - Some have said that the Stream has a weak display. I don't see it, display looks great. Touchscreen - Works well. Color and texture - Looks pretty good. Linux - Runs Ubuntu 20.04 out of the box.
Cons: Speakers - Are noticeably weak. They lose sound quality at louder volume, and even at quieter volume, the balance of sound is subtly off. I care about music a lot. Keyboard - Just feels a little "cheap" - I don't like the feel.
Overall Review: It's amazing you can get an operational laptop for this very low price, and it is perfectly usable for simple home-use tasks. This could be a valuable choice for kids who need their own machine for school work (and need no gaming capability above Solitaire). But the sound and keyboard were a surprising step down from a $400 Asus that I got 4 years ago. If you are a computer person, you probably won't really be happy with this machine. The touchscreen is very cool - although I don't think that a touchscreen is that useful. It's more of a novelty - it's fun to use for simple games (again like Solitaire), but it's typically faster just to use the touchpad. In addition, you don't really want to drag your finger across the screen, because there's too much friction to do that, so you frequently need to use the touchpad anyway.
