Great quiet case 6/20/2020 9:59:56 AM

Pros: -Lots of room inside
-Fans are silent
-You can control the fan speed from the outside
-Good port selection from the front
-Screen in the front and bottom of case prevents dust from getting inside
-Looks sleek and feels very high quality
-Tool-less design, no sharp edges
-Removable drive cage

Cons: -Power button is large and feels ok especially compared to the rest of the case which is stellar
-Holes in the top do not close hence dust is able to get in, can put a large fan up there to blow air out
-No usb-c in the front

Overall Review: -Great case, I have owned it for almost 2 years. This is my first build but it was very easy to use the case and intuitive. I have a bequiet cpu cooler and I can't hear when the computer is on. It is in my living room and does not draw much attention based on appearance or noise. It does collect some dust that I have cleaned out every 6-9 months which I think is due to the air-holes from the top that are not closeable. I could install a fan to blow out to prevent dust from settling but that would not help when the computer is off. Lack of USB-c in the front but you can add it as a drive. Has water cooling holes in the back.

Overall I'm happy with it and would purchase and recommend. I could have probably gone with a smaller case since I do not have any optical drives or spinning hardrives or very long video card. It is very expandable and it is easy to open and modify things.

Almost perfect 12/18/2017 8:39:38 AM

Pros: Modern connectivity (USB 3.0 on front).
Has 5.25" bays! Many new designs don't.
Lots of space so it's easy to maneuver in there.
Large space also allows good air flow to keep things cool in there.
Even though there's lots of space inside, this is not a huge case.
All front, top, side panels come off making it easy to rout wiring.
Two USB2.0 & USB3.0 connectors on the front (as well as audio, which I don't use - I use the mobo back panel for that).
The door that exposes the three 5.25" bays can be converted to swing open to the left or right. Nice!
There are three 3.5" bays with room for another expansion bracket to add (3?) more. The hard drives screw into rubber rails that slide into the bay bracket to minimize vibration. Seems to work well enough.
There are two 2.5" SSD brackets on the back side.
Space to add another fan in front (which I did) and two fans on top.
Routing for water cooling.
Wiring ability is well thought out.
Stock fans are quiet enough.
Nice matte black finish.
Feet hold the case well above carpeted floors! Nice!
Obvious high quality construction.

Cons: PS on the bottom and Mobo connectors on top meant my cable could not snake around hidden on the back side but had to drape across everything to reach. Not a problem visually for me since I don't use a glass side panel, but it may interfere with airflow a little. Because of this, I prefer top mounted PS designs.
The 2 case fans (front/back) are only 3 pin. 4pin would allow better mobo control, but may complicate front panel fan control (which I disabled).
The top is not sealed. The air vents are always open even when you don't use a fan up there. So watch for spills.
Biggest fault for me: the bottom air filter is removed from the back of the unit (huh?)! This makes it impossible for me to use so I had to mount the PS upside down, drawing air from the inside of the cabinet. I'm hoping dust won't enter thru the bottom opening (granted, it's partially blocked by the upside down PS).

Overall Review: I'm highly concerned about quiet PCs. The key is 1) good venting so airflow can be maintained with large, slow moving fans, and 2) mechanical decoupling between the hard drives and the case. This design works well enough on both accounts.
Those of you moving from a cheapy case will find this unit wonderful. All the edges are rolled to eliminate cut hands. Rubber grommets surround all the internal openings so no more cut wire insulation and shorted wires.
The 1/2 height door swings open to allow access to the DVD writer bay. I'm a little worried this could get broken at the hinges.
I bought a 2nd front case fan and stole the four rubber grommets from the front of the existing fan. It is very nice that the case included the 4 black screws.
I disconnected the case fans from the front controllers and plugged them into the mobo for more automatic/intelligent control. The front fan controller can easily be taken off if you want to declutter the cabling a little, but this will expose a little inconspicuous hole.
The power switch is a big button recessed on the top. Still waiting for my wife to put something there and accidentally turn it off. Having it recessed will help prevent that some.
I really liked having 1" clearing (or more) between the top of the case and the CPU cooler. Lots of room for wiring, fingers, tools, and air flow.
There is a center pin that allows the mobo to be easily lined up. This pin takes the place of a mounting screw so there is one less grounded connection there. It doesn't seem to be a problem for the ASRock Z270 Extreme4 mobo.
Contrary to what says, this case will not allow a 2nd 140mm fan for the Noctua NH-D15S CPU cooler with ASRock Z270 Extreme4 mobo. To keep the 140mm fan from hitting the memory modules it will need to be mounted "high" which, in turn, makes it hit the side panel. A 120mm fan works well.

Solid interior design, excellent assortment of accessories for cable management 2/7/2017 4:43:52 AM

Pros: -Genuinely quiet
-Cleanable air filters! Yes!
-Outstanding build quality. Designers were not fooling around. It _feels_ good, and is a pleasure to work in.
-Lots of good 'little things' - designed with cutout behind motherboard so it's easy to strap on CPU cooling system _after_ you've installed the motherboard, for example.

Cons: -Poor placement of power button. While it looks cool to have a big fat button on the top of the case, the reality is that the large power button is on a flat horizontal space, which means you put stuff there, or rest your hand on it while plugging in cables to the back, or any one of a number of other things that might result in accidentally turning it off. Since the negative impact of this arguably small design flaw can be huge (i.e. it may not cause failure often, but when it does....) I dinged it an egg - would have only dinged it half-an-egg if I could have.
-Default install position of rear fan has power cable directly over middle of motherboard; the cord is nice and long so I could wedge it under the fan and over the rear ports to clip to the top of the case so it didn't get in the way, but if the fan had just been rotated 90 degrees it would have been non-issue.

Fantastic Case 12/24/2016 9:41:57 AM

Pros: As the name would suggest, the case is quiet.
Layout is configurable to meet your needs
lots of room for components and fans or radiators
Great cable routing options
Vibration dampening rubber.... EVERYWHERE!

Cons: I guess the power button is a bit oversized if I had to pick something.

Overall Review: What can I say, I love this case. It was everything I had hoped it would be. It's quiet, it's spacious, it's solid and well built, there are no sharp edges, and in solid black it's just... well SEXY. I'm not a fan of window cases or noisy overclocked hurricane sounding computers, so this case couldn't be more perfect for me. It's been a while since I've built a custom computer, and maybe this is more common now, but the finishes on this case are fantastic. I had no cuts on my hands form sharp edges, which is great. I was able to put 2 radiators in the system for the CPU and GPU. The cable routing is fantastic. I suppose to nit pick, the power button on the top is a bit comically sized, but that's really looking hard for something I would change. 5 eggs because I can't give it 6.
