How to use 2.0 / 5.1 / 7.1CH Audio Extraction
- 2.0 CH: 3.5 mm L/R port, HDMI Audio Output, SPDIF port, 7.1 HDMI audio output ports all output 2.0CH PCM format audio
- 5.1 CH: TV audio, 7.1HDMI audio input, optical output 5.1 ch DTS/Dolby format, 3.5 mm Audio port is not Support 5.1 ch, at 5.1 ch DTS/Dolby format Please disconnect the 3.5 mm port
- 7.1 CH: At 7.1 ch Mode. If the audio format is LPCM, the HDMI audio extract output signal will output at HDMI audio output, 3.5 mm audio port and SPDIF port. If the audio format is not LPCM the audio is only output at HDMI audio output port. Please. If the TV or Display is not support 7.1 ch, there be no Audio signal
- PASS: In Pass Mode, the HDMI output signal is in TV Copy Mode, so the output resolution will be based on the TV display EDID. 3.5 mm and SPDIF output 2.0 ch audio signal. SPDIF 5.1 ch audio output. 3.5 mm audio port does not support 5.1 ch
Q: The feed keeps cutting in and out
A: Connect the input source to the switcher, and the HDMI 2.0 cable from the switcher to the display all should not exceed 5 meters. Must use HDMI 2.0 cable (19+1)
Q: The signal periodically loses connection
A: If the signal is detected periodically, please Input device setting HDMI automatic sub-ratio, HDMI 2.0 cable (19+1)
Q: The video on the monitor flickers back and forth between appearing and not appearing
A: Please do not use HDMI optical cable
Q: The audio channel is buzzing
A: When using audio, it must be set to the desired channel, otherwise noise will appear.
Such as: Headphones must use 2.0 audio, there will be noise when using other audio channels
NOTE: ARC won't work when switching to 7.1 surround channel, please switch to PASS to enjoy the ARC function
When you needed HDMI ARC output for sonos amp. please set audio format on HDMI Source to PCM/ LPCM audio format. Open ARC function of the TV at the same time
