Pros: This laptop is great with its backlit keyboard stunning moniter and upgraded specs
Cons: Fans sound like jet engines and temps are in the low 90s
Overall Review: The laptop is packed with cool features and runs games fairly well; however, the standard version by rog has a 4th gen processor, which means it was upgraded from its original form. With this upgrade, there is a significant change in temperature and battery life. When first opening a game, the fans switch to performance mode, which is relatively loud, and thermal throttles; however, when plugged in, it switches to turbo mode, and the fans switch to PS4 mode and can easily be heard across a large room and have minima thermal throttling. When the laptop is placed on a cooling pad, it helps temps, but it is still deafening. When I use this laptop, I always wear headphones which do a good job of drowning out the noise. The keys also feel very hot, and the charger is sadly not type-c.
