Standard LED strips operate on constant voltage, causing the far end to dim as voltage drops along the strip length a phenomenon known as voltage drop. Our constant current architecture maintains consistent current flow to every single LED, ensuring identical brightness from the first cut to the 50-foot end. Installation Made Simple
Installing your JOYLIT COB strip is straightforward:
Measure and cut Use the cutting marks every 50mm to achieve your desired length
Peel and stick Remove the 3M adhesive liner and press firmly onto a clean, dry surface
Connect and power Solder or use compatible connectors to attach to a 24V DC power supply (not included)
Add a dimmer Connect a dimmer (not included) for full brightness control, if you dont need dimmable feature, please ignore this step
Important Usage Notes:
Power supply not included Requires a 24V DC constant voltage driver rated for the total wattage of your installed length (approximately 8W per meter at full brightness)
Dimmer not included Suggest to use a PWM dimmer rated for 24V systems,TRIAC/ELV/0-10V is also compatible, please consult
Indoor use only IP20 rating is not suitable for wet or outdoor locations
Surface preparation Ensure mounting surface is clean, dry, and free of dust/oil for optimal adhesive
