The MPLAB PICkit4 in-circuit debugger/programmer uses the powerful graphical user interface of MPLAB X Integrated Development Environment (IDE) version 4.15 for fast and easy debugging and programming of PIC and dsPIC flash microcontrollers. MPLAB PICkit 4 uses a high-speed 2.0 USB interface to connect to the designers computer and can be connected to the target through an 8-pin single in-line (SIL) connector. This connector uses two device I/O pins and reset lines to implement in-circuit debugging and in-circuit serial programming (ICSP). There is also a micro SD card slot, which can automatically supply power from the target machine, which means you can carry your own code with you and program it at any time.
