Pros: very well made materials, lots of parts, very customizable

Cons: you have to build it yourself

Overall Review: You can buy multiple sets to stack them and or expand them. I paid $23 shipped on sale, even at its non sale of $30 i would say its worth the money.

Worth the price! 1/7/2019 7:19:58 PM

Pros: - Comes with quality parts and instructions.

Cons: - none that I can think of

Overall Review: This is for the do-it-yourselfer. if you want a mining rig or case with little pre-assembly required, then this is not the case for you.

Good Product, but comes with lots of parts that makes for a time consuming assembly! 12/1/2018 10:09:03 PM

Pros: It provides a nice looking and functional mining chassis
Being able to mount a bank of fans to cool the GPUs is nice

Cons: Takes a long time to assemble and set up
Instructions are written by someone who speaks English as a second language and diagrams are a little hard to follow
Pre-drilled holes for PCI Riser Cards didn't fit with my brand of riser card.
Some of the screws in the kit are allen head. Kit comes with allen wrenches, but would prefer phillips head screws.

Overall Review: I will probably buy another. It looks much nicer than the wood frames I've been building to date. I expect assembly will be much faster the second time. I'd probably give it 5 eggs if it weren't for the issue with PCI riser cards.

Great Mining Rack 11/18/2018 2:48:42 AM

Pros: Looks really nice and spacing for the GPU's is great. Solid construction. I love how the PCIe risers mount to the plexiglass. They provide a sturdy connection and support the GPU's.

Cons: Not easy to build by yourself especially if you have carpel tunnel in your hands. Only real con is that it would be nice if the motherboard mounted between the 2 power supplies. My cpu power and 24 pin power do not reach the edge of my motherboard so I can only sit the PSU's on the plexiglass base till I get extension cables for the cpu connector and the 24 pin power connector. Minor con and not the rack's fault. The instructions could be a tad better written but were adequate in getting this assembled.

Overall Review: Lots of screws. The allen wrenches that were included are not great quality but work. Word of advice, do not use a bed to build this as I did. A flat surface such as a table would make things much easier. You can technically mount 9 GPU's on this rack. 1 in the motherboard(or more if you have additional slots on your motherboard and 8 on the top part of the rack.

Difficult to set up, low quality materials, and improperly spaced cuts, but it gets the job done 7/21/2018 2:31:33 PM

Pros: As advertised, holds 14 GPUs for a mining rig and is compatible with ATX and EAXT boards. Comes with plenty of hardware. Also comes with hardware for the fan variant even if you ordered the standard variant. This makes it easy to expand to include case fans in the future. (I'm just using a box-fan with a homemade shroud and air filters to protect my components.)

Cons: Pre-drilled holes for motherboard standoffs were not in correct placement for either standard ATX or EATX boards. I ended up using 4 that were pre-drilled and then drilled the rest myself. Pre-drilled holes do not match holes on PCIe risers to install standoffs. They were extremely close, which was even more of a problem. They were so close that I could not drill my own holes to install the PCIe riser standoffs because it made a weird diagonal hole. Most screws and hardware is not magnetic. You will be wishing for the ability to utilize your magnetic screwdriver, but this will not let you for most of the hardware. The few screws that were magnetically reactive were so along the shaft of the screw and not the screw head. The magnetic screwdriver actually made it more difficult because it would attract the screw's shaft instead of head. Holes for PSU mounting do not match most PSUs. I tried desktop PSUs in this "case" and the holes did not line up. Perhaps they would line up better for server PSUs, which are probably the intent. Brackets to hold graphics cards are not adjustable between cards. This is a big problem if you have a mix of different size graphics cards. I set the brackets to hold the widest cards securely and ended up using zip-ties for the rest. It works, but is not ideal.

Overall Review: Ultimatley, you get what you pay for with this chassis. About the best you can hope for given the price point. A bit of DIY modding and it will work well for a mining station.

Worth what you pay for it 4/12/2018 5:10:56 AM

Pros: Looks decent
Functionally what I would expect
Worth the price

Cons: Lots and lots of parts.
Printing quality of directions is poor and hard to read
Because it has a ton of parts, takes a long time to assemble.
