IN WIN BUC Black SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ATX 12V, PSII Size, Not Included Power Supply

Pros: Beautiful case. Nice cable management. Easy to carry. Almost tool less. LEDs are cool. Installing hard drives was an absolute breeze. Cables are nicely labeled. Packing for the case in the box is appropriate and protects the case rather nicely. Case fans are very quiet.

Cons: Instructions are presented on a fold-out and not a book type manual. The instructions (if you can call them instructions) are just pictures as the text below is virtually useless. The worst part: the rubber grommets that hold the rear fan in place. Why rubber!!! When installing a water cooled fan, the screws for the fan had nothing to secure to as the screw head was too small for the rubber grommet and passed right through it! Why not use the case and cut an appropriate hole for screws??? As a result of this layout, installing a self inclosed water cooler was a nightmare. Furthermore, one of the rubber grommets split in half so now I have only 3 screws holding the rear fan (as extras are not included). Not a deal breaker but a real hassle when installing third party fans. A metal grommet would have been the way to go on this - 2 eggs off for that.

Overall Review: I like the case so I'm stuck with 3 grommets. May try to go to a hardware store to find a metal replacement for all 4 grommets. Fans are near silent which is great. I setup the new AMD FX chip with this case and it runs absolutely silent. Would have been nice if the cutout for the estata on the front of the case was actually cutout so you could use it. This is one of the nicer cases offered by In Win.

Pros: Excellent cable management. My case looks very clean. I love the looks of the case. Not too big. Hot swappable drive bays make even permanent drives way easier to install. Painted interior. Mostly tool-less to work with.

Cons: The side fans don't line up properly with the video cards. The bottom fan lines up to the bottom card, but the top card is almost perfectly between the two fan spots. I ended up hanging a 120mm fan from the bottom screw holes for the upper side fan to have direct cooling on the video card. This was reason enough for me to remove one egg. USB 3.0 port is a pass through to the back of the case instead of an internal header. I would have liked an internal option.

Overall Review: Even with the cons above, I would definitely buy this case again. It's easy and pleasurable to work with and the results were good.

Pros: The cable routing was kinda tight, but better than no routing options at all. The USB 3.0 port on top panel, even though it is just a pass-through to the back is still nice. I like the stock fans, and the blue led on the front fan isn't as blindingly bright as some other front case LED's I've seen. The top large exhaust fan is a nice addition. The PSU being bottom mounted is nice, and this case even has a removable, cleanable dust filter for the PSU grill.

Cons: The mesh bezels on the front of the 5.25 bays aren't going to be on your finished computer, since you're going to have optical drives installed there. The Front intake fan grill doesn't have a removable filter. The drive bay hot swap lockable door is kinda pointless, since the side panel pops off quite easily, with no key, tools, etc. The PSU removable dust filter makes it awkward to grab the computer by that back corner. The cable routing was a little tight, but still nicer than a case without such options. The top exhaust fan grill seems kinda weak.

Overall Review: I'd definitely buy it again, and it was a piece of cake building in this case. My Sabertooth x58 mobo fit just fine, no problems whatsoever.

Pros: o Relatively inexpensive o Fairly roomy o Drive bays pre-wired for SATA and power o Raised mobo mountings for common mount points (I needed to install one mounting for a standard ATX mobo) o Pretty lights o Largely tool-less install

Cons: The latches that hold the sides of the case in place feel a little flimsy and come off easily. It would seem my case shipped with one of these clips missing. :( The case doesn't offer much in terms of cable/wire management. A few holes but not much depth behind the motherboard. As far as I could see there was no way to route the 8 pin power cable for my mobo except in front. (mobo was ASRock Z77 Extreme4)

Overall Review: Neutral: Silly locked hatch for hot swapping drives (as others have mentioned the lock is sort of odd since removing the side of the computer is reasonably trivial No front ports for eSATA or Firewire (lack of demand?) Bottom line: I'm reasonably happy with the case but may look elsewhere next time.

Pros: Very large for mid-tower case, good quality, easy to work inside, nice design, supposed to have (see Cons) a lot of ports: USB 3.0 x 1 (top), USB 2.0 x 2, eSATA x 1, HD/AC'97 Audio (front), great ventilation - options to install up to 5 fans (2 fans are included), hard drive EZ-swap door on the left panel, great attention to little details

Cons: I received the case that is not the one shown on a web site! If you ordered this case because you wanted to have an eSATA port on the front of the case (like I did), you are in for a big surprise. There is NO eSATA port at all! There is a place in the shape of the eSATA port on the front of the case, but it is plugged! Instead of an eSATA port there is however an extra USB 3.0 port at the top of the case near the storage tray, so you get: USB 3.0 x 2 (TOP), USB 2.0 x 2, HD/AC'97 Audio (Front) Ports. Hardly an improvement! Who had such a idiotic idea to change the originally great design into something so much boring. I would never even consider this case if I new it had only USB ports and no eSATA.

Overall Review: After calming down a little bit, I have to admit that I shouldn't have given this case a 3-egg rating because this case is great! It deserves 5-eggs but only with eSATA port on the front like it is shown and described on the web site. I have to say that I am very disappointed with newegg.com for misinformation about the product. I never had any problem with anything I ordered here, so this experience comes to me as a big surprise. If you guys there know that it is a different product, show it as a different product and let your customers decide what they want to get. Don't make a decision of sending to us something that we didn't order. Newegg! Please, send me my case!

Pros: Roomy. Versatile. Great experience with In Win Customer service

Cons: Plates on rear for expansion cards are not replacable once removed

Overall Review: I have done two builds with this case (not to be confused with the BUC 101 which is very different). This case is roomy, easy to work in , and a cinch. Be aware that there has been a subtle design change. My first case was bought last July 2011 as is as the description and pictures. However, this latest case bought March 2012 has been changed in two ways: 1. As other have stated, they have removed the eSATA port on the front header. HOWEVER, I contacted In Win customer service, and they sent me a board and leads with the port that I can swap out - FOR FREE! Very nice of them. No arguing or anything. 2. The single USB port on the top of the case was connected to the motherboard by an included cable which routed out the back of the case and inserted into on of your back panel 3.0 slots. The new design has two USB 3.0 recepticles on top and comes with a 19 pin box header to plug into the newer motherboards with the USB 3.0 headers. All in all, great case. Very happy

Pros: USB 3 connectors on front, Good wire management, Hard disk hot swap capability, Good amount of room inside case, Reasonably quiet fans, Tool-less expansion slots, Looks good, Great case in its price range

Cons: Case clips are weak and made of very thin plastic, No eSATA connector as stated in description, Very little documentation

Overall Review: I love this case and it fits my needs very well. The only real complaints I have is that the case clips are very thin plastic and my case arrived with 2 of them broken, partly due I believe because it was shipped in only the retail box and no other protection from the jostling around that everything shipped goes though. The top fan had also come loose and was laying in the bottom of the case and was DOA. I called InWin the next day and their very helpful customer service guy Jerry handled my problem and sent out the replacement parts the next day. Can't say enough about how well and quickly they handled my problem. Refreshing to know that in these days of 'Customer No-Service' that there are still companies that care about the consumers. Also,the description says it has 1 eSATA and 1 USB 3 connector,instead it has 2 USB 3 and no eSATA connector which I wanted on my case. Not a huge problem but would still have liked to have it. All said though I love the case and will use InWin again.

Pros: My case came with the top USB 3.0 panel routed internally to a USB 3.0 header! A huge plus that made me really happy when I initially opened it up. Luckily, my Crucial SSD and WD and Segate HDDs all fit well into the hot-swap bays. All USB/audio/fan leads fit into mobo headers without issue. Yellow may not be your thing, and call me crazy, but my machine looks pretty good with my blue ASUS board, blue case LEDs, yellow fans and yellow RAM modules, and the black background.

Cons: Cable management is so-so. I took my time getting the cables neat and tidy. The hardest part was getting power routed to the EZ swap trays because the tails are so short. In Win logo is kind of obnoxious. I turned it off. A lot of the mesh grating is flimsy, and the EZ swap bay door is downright trashy. As others have said, I would like to have had replaceable PCI slot covers. The power switch doesn't give enough of a satisfying click.

Overall Review: Fans are fairly quiet, though not the most I've ever heard (or not heard). Without consequence, mine did not actually come with an eSATA port on the front. The case is pretty lightweight, however it cannot claim "built like a tank" status.
