LIAN LI PC-V600B Black Aluminum ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Excellent fit and finish. Easy side panel removal, especially with the serrated edges that help w/ grip (great idea, and looks good as well). Terrific cooling potential. Love the look.

Cons: Wish description was more informative about what CPU cooler space you have to work with. It was the only thing to make me hesitate in purchasing one of these cases. Very loud case fans at full voltage... and I mean LOUD.

Overall Review: My only hesitation about purchasing this case was the CPU cooler space issue. I finally decided that a Zalman CNPS7700 would fit; and it does!!! This is with an Asus A8N-E MB and Athlon64/939 socket. I was left w/ almost 18mm between fins and PSU and 22mm between fan hub and PSU. Also, the Seasonic S12/430W unit only extends to cover a bit better than half the fan. So, lots of air flow. I immediatly ordered a fan controller to tame the case fans, which I hoped I would not have to do. The Seasonic fan IS quiet and the Zalman as well... at least on lowest voltage. PSU cables can get in the way, so a modular plug unit would help. Otherwise, no big deal. I love the case. Hope these insights help.

Pros: If you need instructions please pay me to build it for you. The panels on the sides are the easiest yet most complex removal I've seen to date. I love the spring loaded thumb screens and the way you pull it to unlock the sides. When locked the case becomes rock solid and alignment is simple to put back on and off. The led lights are simply elegant and who cares if the bleed a little, they make it seem expensive unlike antec headlights on their cases. Extremely light weight for the size. USB and Firewire ports are in the best location in the world for everyday use. Like a vacuum cleaner, you hate the ones that have the cord low because the cables get in the way! Yes you can see the inside "raw metal", I really would never think of changing that. I'm an artist and I think it compliments it's complexity on the inside and doesn't take it into BLAND black everywhere. Top notch feet on the bottom, no detail spared! Geforce 8800GTS series fits this case

Cons: You'll feel stupid you didn't buy it earlier. Mac fanatics will envy you thinking you got the latest Mac Pro :)

Overall Review: I went from Enlight, InWin, Antec, Thermaltake, coolermaster, and several other brands to Lian-Li. I can see not reason to not use Lian-Li again. You can see why these cases come with the price. First time in my life I feel like I got a steal for the ammount of money I paid after I owned it.

Pros: All metal constuction, Very light-weight, Good cooling solution, Quiet fans.

Cons: The location of the PSU will keep you from adding an aftermarket heatsink to the CPU. Theres also no bezel to cover the drive, but that can be bought separatly for around ten dollars (FrozenCPU).

Overall Review: All around, this is a a well thought out case. If your into watercooling, theres plenty of room inside.

Pros: This is a fantastic case. I expected aluminum, but this is all quality aluminum, well organized, well thought out, and well manufactured. Upside down layout makes the case heavy at the bottom, not at the top. Duh, why aren't all ATX cases made this way? Also, this allows the optical drives easy (short) access to the IDE/SATA headers. The HDD mounts are sideways with easy screws. Most importantly, the cooling pulls air over the HDD's, past the CPU fan, and around the VGA card and out the side exhaust. The Power supply pulls outside air in through the lower side vent and out, not re-cylced hot air from in the case.

Cons: I have to see how dirty it gets over time. Also, Aluminum is SOFT and can scratch although the outside is anodized therefore harder.

Pros: Clean compact and good looking.

Cons: Be very careful buying a heatsink with this case because the power supply mounts right above the CPU leaving only about 100mm of clearance.

Pros: Very slick design, very sturdy. The tool free HDD mounts are a good thing as always.

Cons: Somewhat cramped inside

Overall Review: The clearance between the PSU and heatsink on the processor is not as bad as others have made it sound

Pros: I find the size of this case to be the best Ive ever seen. I like to keep the case up high next to my desk so any to big would be out of question. Was able to fit 680i LT xfx mother board 2 x pny oc ultras 850 watt quad sli cool master power supply and xps liquid cooling system. with only slight modifacation.

Cons: None other then changed out stock fans with silent x 120 push more air and are quiter.

Overall Review: E6700 at 3.33 ghz , 2 gig corsair 800 mhz xms, 2 x pny oc ultras, xfi fatailty , xfx 680 i lt, LG dvd lightscripe, raptor 75 for wp pro and raptor 150 for vista 32 bit premiun.

Pros: Very beautiful case, VERY high quality. Ive never seen a case so beautifully made, and with such great metals, designers must havehad me in mind. this entire series of cases from the 300 desktop/mpc all the way up to the 2000 full tower version are made SO WELL!

Cons: Airflow around the cpu. If you have a videocard and a decent sized power supply, it pretty much creates a heat box around the heatsink. a very simple cheap fix for this is a pci slot fan. doesnt need to be high rpm or move alot of air, i baught one with the lowest noise production i could find, and my cpu temp dropped 15C.

Overall Review: would be nice if they shipped it WITH the pci slot fan, its not really a weakness, its basically fault of where many motherboard manufacturers expect you to place your videocard. otherwise the side venting fan would take care of it perfectly.
