Pros: Small case with full-sized components. I was able to fit my ATX board, PC Power & Cooling 750, Noctua SE1366, 2 hard drives, a DVD-R/W, and a GTX 275 without a hitch. Removable hard drive cage made swapping out the front fan much easier, and the screw-removeable top makes things simpler should I need to add a blowhole down the road. All put together, it's very low-key/subdued, compact, and not too heavy.

Cons: - As another commenter pointed out, finish is very absorbent of fingerprints. I don't mind, but it might irritate the OCD - Extra venting on this 'N' variant (compared to the original A05's) makes controlling dust even more difficult, so I'm just going to live with the dust and the every-few-month's dust-busting. - If you're not filling the external 3.5" or lower 5.25" inch drive bays, there will be a big hole allowing re-entry of front-exhaust air, which I've yet to deal with (waiting for it to cause problems first). - My videocard puts off a lot of heat, and the hot pocket created in the upper portion is definitely noticeable just by feeling the case around it, but also has yet to cause any issues (artifacting, shutdowns, BSODs, etc, none yet). I added the B S -03 pre-emptively just to be on the safe side because I'm paranoid.

Overall Review: Can't comment on the included fans, as I was going for a quieter build and went ahead and invested in something nicer. Annoying that they dropped the Firewire port on the front/top ports, and left a blank spot, but I don't need that many Firewire ports anyway. Reset button is a little hard to push, but I wouldn't hold that against the case (it's a feature, right?) In general, it was a pleasure to build my new system into the case, it's got a great look if you want something that is the exact opposite of the flashy stuff that's out there, and from a quality perspective I certainly haven't been disappointed.

Pros: I'll go over some of the PRO's in full as best as I can. *The aluminum makes for a durable yet lightweight case for when you need to move the case around. *Moving to the interior, there's the HDD cage which comes with rubber grommets and screws to mount up to (3) 3.5" HDD's. *PSU tray is very simple to install - unscrew the tray from the case, mount it onto your PSU whichever orientation you want the PSU to be, then just slide it back into the case, done! (Note: I did wrap some teflon around the support piece so it wouldn't scratch my PSU) *Top panel now comes off in this "NB" revision for cut outs for radiator grills or blowholes, no longer held in place with rivets but with 4 screws. *Vented PCI slots, supposedly helps with rising heat from your GPU to escape through these holes however I'll talk about it again in the next section. *The SIZE! It's compatible with uATX/ATX boards but at a reduced height due to only (2) 5.25" bays and PSU on level with the motherboard.

Cons: Minor but things that I thought didn't really help significantly. *The vented PCI slots - if you have a negative pressure in your case, you're probably drawing in dust from these little vents instead of releasing heat. This may not be the case for everyone but I don't see a point to it. *Hot spot on the top - one of the few complaints about this case is the "hot spot" right above where the PCI slots are since the heat rises from your GPU especially with dual GPU solutions, this isn't the case for the HD4770 though it't not even warm to the touch. *Non-conventional cooling, which actually was, to my surprise, very good since the CPU receives the cool air first; front fan will exhaust the hot air out through the side grills on the front panel. (I taped the opening underneath the 3.5" bay so that hot air wouldn't get sucked back into the case) *The I/O panel - fetch some elbow grease and a crowbar cause it's going to be a two man effort to wedge that I/O shield in!

Overall Review: It's Lian Li quality in a small package, no suprirse here as they've established themselves as one of the most well-known companies when it comes to cases and computer accessories. I only decided to write this review in order to I just wanted to add that I did make a cut-out for a radiator grill on the top panel to exhaust the extra heat since I am using a dual GPU solution. I really do enjoy how easy it was to modify this case to my cooling needs and aesthetic changes as well. There's a huge following on this case on HardForum just google "lian li a05b hardforum", users post both the original and revised case in that thread. I really do hope you consider this case in your next build as I've fully enjoyed working in and on this case for my build. Pros: All aluminum construction so it's one of the lightest case out there. Aluminum also acts like a giant heat sink for your parts. The finish on this case is absolutely stunning. I'd stop every 5 minutes just to stare at and admire the case. All tooless design, I've never had an easier time putting together a computer. Looks small from the outside but it's organized so well inside that you can fit any large video card or CPU heat sink in there. Slide out tray for power supply, so convenient because you can add the PSU from OUTSIDE the computer. I've always had a hard time adding PSU in other rigs but not here. Two large 120mm fans that push a lot of air and is very quiet. Anti vibration rubber grommets for all your fans and HDs. Superb craftsmanship. Everything fits nice and snug, no sharp edges. Cons: The DVD drive slot does not have a flap that covers the drive. Sadly, the black plastic face of my DVD drive does not do justice to the rest of the finish on this case. Wish there was more room behind the mobo for cable management. There is NO firewire on this case, the top has a little space where the firewire port should be, but it's not there. Not a huge issue though since it's not used anymore and your motherboard has a firewire port in the back anyway. The finish is susceptible to prints from moisture and sweat. It's also easier to scratch than the matte paint on steel cases. The power button doesn't have a great spring to it. Sometimes it's hard to tell if I pressed it hard enough. No filters on fans like some of the other Lian Li cases. This is the biggest con for me. The power supply cable inside the case is much too long. All small cons, definitely buy this case.

Overall Review: The design is very innovative, the PSU is on the front bottom, below the HD racks. The fans also suck air in from the back and blows out to the front. Surprisingly the cooling in this case is superb. This unconventional method is actually really effective. It's hard to see from the pictures but once you put everything together, it all makes sense. The two 120mm fans are located in the front in front of the 3 HD tray and one in the back in front of the CPU. Normal rigs tend to push hot air from the HD to the CPU, which is a horrible idea since HDs can tolerate higher temperatures than CPU. This case pushes air from CPU to HD, I'm surprised other companies have not done that. The motherboard is upside down, so the hot video cards are above the CPU. It's brilliant since hot air rises. Pros: Excellent workmanship on the case, super nice aluminum. Rounded edges so you don't cut yourself all that jazz. Enough room to fit and hide all the cables of my TX750 power supply. My GTX 275 fits very well. Keeps the processor nice and cool and the graphics decently cooled.

Cons: Power supply doesn't get enough airflow. There had* (read other thoughts) been numerous occasions where I took the front panel off because the panel was getting hot to the touch from the PSU air. All the heat from the PSU rises to the HDDs which makes them hotter than I'd like as well.

Overall Review: I modded the top panel of the case a week after I got it. Added two Scythe S-FLEX 120mm fans (1200rpm) which I have on my fan controller to about 800rpms. EVERYTHING stays excellently cool now and is very quiet. i7-920 @ 3.2ghz only gets to 43-44c (on the cores) and 28c on the chip when gaming. gtx 275 idles around 47c (a little hotter than my other case, can't complain though) and at max load (Arma2/Bad Company 2) gets around 88c. Before top panel fan mod verdict: don't try to stuff too much power in this case or your PSU will heat up like crazy After mod verdict: my favorite case so far since it is so small, great temps (I have used coolermaster sniper,antec p183,antec 900, thermaltake element s)

Pros: Lost of space, low profile, all aluminum case. Very good price for a Lian Li case. Lian Li has made this case very easy to work with. Will easily fit a GTX 260 or 280. I've got 2 gtx 260s installed in SLI and could easily fit a 3rd one in.

Pros: It's a LIAN-LI case which equates to high quality craftsmanship. The HDD mounting system is simple yet genius. It's cool and quiet.

Overall Review: This is the solution for a fanless graphics card with the heatsink mounted on the GPU (component side of PCB) which is why I purchased this case. Now with my motherboard mounted to the left panel of the case instead of the traditional right panel, the heatsink of the graphics card is on top instead of beneath the card. The idle temperature is now 73C where as previously it was 88C. In fact, even after looping 3DMark for 2 hours the temperature for my graphics card never exceeded 81C. PSU is a Rosewill with a 120mm fan. The 60mm CPU fan is the loudest noise and it's spinning at 3300 - 4000 rpm. The case temperature hovers around 33C, the CPU 44C with the ambient room temperature 23C.

Pros: I really like the lay out of this case. I installed a micro ATX Motherboard in it. Everything fit well. I like the looks of the case two. Looks very clean with no optical drives installed.

Overall Review: Lian makes an optional Top Cover w/ 140mm Fan hole. I installed it and I recommend anyone who gets this case get the optional cover for better air flow.
