Great case 4/7/2014 10:21:33 PM

Pros: I also love this case. It has a lot of room, is very quiet, and is aluminum.

Cons: Case seems to be discontinued. Why? I would like to get another case, but can't find one.

Life Long Case 9/25/2012 6:00:15 PM

Pros: Has usb 3 ports on top, fans are withholding there time limit. I leave my computer on 24-7 and nothing failed so far. I do have to clean the built in filters every 2 months but it is from being on carpet. The case is fairly heavy, heavy enough to settle into the carpet padding. the steel wheels have rubber o rings on them so they dont scratch hard floors. Everything internal is easy to manage and quick to remove and put back together. The front door is designed to change sides. I had to dremel the right side of the door because it was cutting into the top LED's. It is aluminum so it is not that hard to grind.

Cons: The support rail for the GPU is somewhat cheap. its from the plastic runners that are designed to actually releive the stress on the GPU. I have the ASUS GTX 580 that takes three slots. I used two supports which i locked the second one right below the one actually holding the card to reduce the pressure from just one. I was actually able to lift the GPU passed the equilibrium point.

Overall Review: Any case made out of solid aluminum is worth the money. This case will definately be with me for a very long time. I will change and change the fans until the case itself is destroyed.

Awesome 4/19/2012 12:35:44 PM

Pros: Huge case with a lot of premium features. Wheel are nice. Very quiet operation. I really like the reversible door hinge option and the ability to add 3 case fans on top.

Cons: As others have stated, the directions are next to useless.

Overall Review: With the price drop and free shipping (2-day shipping), I couldn't pass on this case. I'm sure it will serve my needs for a long time!!

Best case 3/22/2012 6:16:48 PM

Pros: Professional look. Had to buy this because I didn't want a case that looks like a Christmas tree and a Firefighter truck at the same time. I cannot understand the style of the gaming cases, maybe I'm too old.
Solid build, all aluminum. Many things I hated in prior cases have solutions in this one. Not only that, but extremely simple solutions.
Power supply setup is awesome with the filter and fan on the bottom.
Cable management is great. Fans make positive pressure inside otherwise you get lots of dust

Cons: The case is really big. I can put my previous computer in there, the home server and there is still plenty of place to park my range rover inside. I read the reviews but did not understand how big it was until I saw it... If that is a con. If you can find a configuration that does not fit in there, I will eat it...
Documentation is terrible.
Some rattle here and there. Fans are cheepo. Wheels go only in one direction which kinda makes them useless. Front filters are only removed with the fans but tool-less.

Overall Review: Overall awesome case. However, I could suggest some improvements.
Price is crazy.

12/23/2011 12:06:48 PM

Pros: Big. Outstanding appearance, materials and workmanship. Easy to work inside. Big. Holds plenty of hard drives in well-ventilated cages. Quiet: The supplied fans and controller work very well. Did I mention it's pretty big?

Cons: Big. Could use more wire retention / management features, especially behind the motherboard tray. Power supply compartment is small and not well ventilated - not ideal for a fanless power supply. Fan filters are difficult to access for cleaning.

Big. Big. BIG. 12/2/2011 11:26:46 PM

Pros: Did I say it was big? OK. This case is cavernous. The fan layout makes this a cool box. There is room for so many drives, I can't imagine anyone ever filling all the slots. Air filters. Quiet!. Bottom power supply with air vent below PSU. All aluminum; even the wheels. Well constructed. Easy to work in even with big hands like me.

Cons: Only one and that is the reason for four stars instead of five. The case has a mother board tray. That should make installation a breeze. Should, but didn't. I removed the tray from the case and mounted the motherboard on the tray. Motherboard already had the CPU and air cooler mounted. Put in graphic card and other IO.

Went to slide in the tray and whoops. The CPU cooler fins will hit the main portion of the case. So either unmount the CPU cooler or take the motherboard off the tray and put back on after tray is back in the case. I hate to mess with CPUs; the more you do the more likely you will have to buy a replacement. So I went with taking the motherboard off the tray; putting the tray back in the case, and mounting the motherboard and installing everything again.

One of those DUH moments when you know you should have measured first.

Overall Review: I replaced an Antec 1200 with this case. The 1200 is a shrimp compared to this case.

A real tower ! part 2 10/25/2011 3:01:05 PM

Pros: On top of my previous review : cable management. This chassis offers a myriad of possibilities, holes on the mobo plate are wide enough and « cut-proof » thanks to plastic protectors (which is good for protecting cables). ALl my cables are hidden between the mobo plate and the side panel.
2- Modularity. This chassis is very well designed, the only thing that would've make it better is a PCB for SATA connections so that HDD could be hot-swappable.

Cons: 1- No 5.25inch to 3.5 inch bay converter, which is odd for a chassis of this class, I had to buy one (the SilverStone FP55B is a perfect match for this chassis, with aluminum on its front cover brushed the same way as my chassis - vertically).
2- The CPU hole on the mobo plate is not designed for sockets 1155/1156 in mind, as a result my CPU cooler backplate is not aligned with the mobo plate hole and bends it slightly. Minus one egg for this error in design.
