Pros: The case design and features are well thought out. The design is excellent and works well. It is everything I thought it would be.
Cons: While the design is excellent, the execution of that design is not. The main side panel fell off less than two months after I received it. It looks like the double sided tape that holds the glass onto the metal strips failed or was improperly applied at the factory. Luckily the panel didn't hit the floor and shatter.
Overall Review: Lian Li, you have a very good design but please spend a little more time on QC. Update (6/6/2019) I filled out the form on Lian Li's website. They replied by email within a few hours and asked for my address to send out a replacement panel. I will further update my review when I get the panel. Update 6/17/2019 Today i received a brand new front panel from LianLi, at no charge to me. So I've updated my review to reflect that. I've now had the case for about three months and am perfectly satisfied with it. It is everything they said that it would be. Now that I've seen that they will fulfill their warranty obligations, I would not hesitate to buy their products again.
Pros: The design and build quality are excellent. If you like the aesthetic of this case you wont be disappointed.
Cons: The only thing I dont like is the Lian-Li/Der8auer badge inside but I was able to remove it fairly easily. See below for instructions if you wish to remove it.
Overall Review: Using a heat gun on low heat point at the badge and once it gets warm enough it will come off easily without leaving any residual adhesive. Take care not to overheat too much and damage the paint. A blow dryer can most likely be used to accomplish this as well.
Pros: -Looks amazing -should be able to support any build whether it has a ton of hard drives/SSDs or 2 PSUs or multiple graphics card -cooling (airflow) is surprisingly good for a case with not only one but two glass panels -had an issue with the top panel and within 2 days of emailing their support they replied saying they'd send me a new panel -plenty of LEDs for razer customization. if you're familier with chroma studio on razer synapse then you can do alot with it.the lights wont look "blocky" because theres plenty of them. -the front glass panel left side has no LEDs but the light travels through it making it seem as if it does. - the razer logo catches the light really well making it seem as if its lit up without LEDs -great design with no screws holding in the glass yet theyre not going to fall off because they have pin-like pieces on them holding it on. -really long magnetic dist filters on every opening where airflow can reach including the PSU fans have magnetic dust filters -comes with nice soft velcro cable management loop things. they're really good quality and if you wanted to get some for a different PC they're not expensive but it is a really great thing to throw in with the case compared to the zip ties ive been supplies with in the past for other cases. plenty of space for fans and radiators, i currently have an NZXT kraken x72 plus the 3 120mm fans on it plus 6 other 120 mm fans on it. i was worried i would not be able to fit all 9 fans plus radiator but it worked out perfectly. -theres hidden holes for running cables through absolutely everywhere. ive got a ton of stuff connected to fans, motherboard, and gpu and every wire in the case was able to take the shortest route directly toward the cable management area possible -has an anti sag bracket for the GPU that is almost impossible to notice visually but it does keep the GPU from sagging which is nice. -2 thumb screws take off the top panel. after that you can take off the front and both side panels by just sliding them off however the top panel when its on completely locks the side and front panels in place so they cant come off with the top panel on.
Cons: -i have asiahorse cable extenders but the space in the cable management area barely fits all my wires (i have a ton of wires plus have to basically fit the whole power cable plus half a cable extender for CPU, Motherboard, and GPU so i doubt you'll have an issue.) its really not a common issue however i do wish the cable management area had just a tiny bit more space. i know if i swapped my cable extenders for just cables it wouldnt be an issue however they arent cheap so i made the ones i have fit and still be organized. -of course since its glass it gets smudges and isnt the easiest thing to keep clean. not a design flaw but just a flaw with glass cases. - theres a cable in the case i believe is for the usb type C but i dont know what its for exactly and i dont think my motherboard supports that cable however its just my luck that thats the one cable not described in the manual. it has thumb screws which is really nice however i noticed the most important ones (the two for taking off the top panel which is the only panel that needs screws) are an absolute pain to use compared to all the other cases ive used. they just dont seem to fit the greatest although they do fit without damaging the case.
Overall Review: -Upon purchasing the top panel had very slight damage to the "pin-like" connectors that secure it to the case. with a bit of effort i can get it to go on however after contacting the support email they said they'd send me a new one. the biggest up-side to their support is that they didnt ask me to send in the top panel at all let alone prior to recieving my new one. this is great because it can be a hassle waiting for shipping to get to them then for them to process and ship a new one to me. i wish all companies would do this but at least lian li got that part right. - some razer chroma enabled fans would have been an amazing add in but those would razer the price another hundred dollars at least im sure.
Pros: -Premium quality of construction - Lian Li is known for their aluminum cases, but the dynamic proves they know their way around steel as well. Even with all panels removed, this case has very little flex in it. There are no sharp edges to cut up your fingers while routing cables, and the grommeted cable management openings are well placed. Overall the case feels very refined and well thought out. -Tooless tempered glass panels - The unique attachment method used on these panels is beautiful and executed really well. This is going to be a design element that we will see replicated by other manufacturers. -Cable retention bracket - Although this is becoming a common feature in cases, Lian Li designed a very nice retention bracket that effectively hides the majority of your cables and also provides additional drive mounting locations. -Radiator space - With space for up to 3 triple radiators, this case gives a lot of cooling flexibility for water cooling enthusiasts. -Front I/O - The front I/O is minimalist and fits the feel of the case. The inclusion of a USB type C connector is a nice addition if you have a motherboard sporting the appropriate connector. -Magnetic dust filters - The included magnetic dust filters feel high quality and seem to work well.
Cons: -Graphics card clearance - Pay close attention to the listed graphics card compatibility. Not all cards, particularly those with large water blocks installed, will fit in this case horizontally. If you purchase the vertical GPU mount (an additional $60) this will be a non issue. -Black framing on tempered glass panels - I like the look of the black edging on these panels, but I fear that the black coating may scrape off if you are not gentle with these panels. I realize this is nit-picky, but I’m having trouble coming up with cons.
Overall Review: Overall, this is an elegant and extremely well thought out mid-tower case. The attention to detail is apparent throughout. This is one of the cleanest looking builds I have ever done, and the thanks goes to this case. At this price point, there really is no reason not to pick it up. The Lian Li 011 Dynamic is a $130 case with the quality and feel of a $250 case. I highly recommend it.
Pros: Wanted a new case a could transfer my ASUS ROG MAXIMUS IX APEX motherboard over to and water cool. Researched this case on utube and fell in love with it. Dam, she was smoking hot and I had to have her. Ordered parts over 2 months. EK monoblock, EK Pump Res combo, 2-360 Rads. Alphacool 16 mm hard-tube and fittings. Corsair LED fans for top side and back. Did I mention, this was my 1st custom water-loop. The case is well thought out. Kudos to Lian Li and Bauer
Cons: Just like any relationship at 1st it's great, then after the Honeymoon is over, reality sets in. Little things begin to surface that you weren't aware of. Sometimes you'd like to reset your baby, but with this case you can't. No reset switch, just a power switch. Really !! What's up with that. OH, I know. Some motherboards have reset buttons on them so you could just take off the top panel that keeps the side panel locked into place and then take off the side panel then press the reset button. Yea, I get it now. Then there's the issue of the adhesive strips holding on the tempered glass panels. Woke up this morning and notice the front glass panel had dropped straight down. Didn't fall over and break luckily. Also that panel didn't come with the strip with the 2 feet on it to secure it into to place on the bottom. Wish I would of ordered the Lian-Li PC-O11 WX 2.5-3.5 in. Mid Tower Chassis instead. This case has thumb screw holding the tempered panels on. Is around 70.00 dollars more, but won't lose sleep over panels falling off in the middle of the night.
Overall Review: Also (Don't forget Newegg, you asked me to write a review.) The USB 3 connection to the motherboard needs an adapter. To be specific. USB 3.0 20pin Male to Female Extension Adapter Angled 90 Degree for Motherboard Mainboard (Down angled). A 2.00 dollar item, but almost impossible to get. Have been waiting about 2 months now. Order the (Up angled) 1st. Just the opposite of what i needed. -2.50 + shipping. This would tuck that male plug out of site and give it a cleaner look. Would I suggest this to other's. No, I wouldn't. Pay the extra 70.00 and get a Lian-Li PC-O11 WX. The case has the thumb screws to secure the tempered glass panels and is about 2 inches taller. Dimensions (H x W x D) 19.92" x 10.91" x 17.99" As opposed to the LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic Dimensions (H x W x D) 17.70" x 10.80" x 17.70" Trust me. The extra space height wise will come in handy with a thick radiator.
Pros: - Excellent Construction: Made of thick metal and tempered glass. Only has 2 thumbscrews to take off all panels. - Cable Management: More than enough room for cabling and hubs. I have 9 fans and 2 hubs for them alone. -Options: Fits up to 3 360mm rads, 9 fans, all intakes are filtered.
Cons: -No included fans: I did not have an issue with this as I would more than likely replaced with the fans I liked.
Pros: Very nice looking case Plenty of room for multiple rads for cooling Plenty for room for fans Can hide cables easily Easy to build in
Cons: Only con is my front glass has fallen twice hitting the floor , leaving the metal strip still in place (Have contacted Lian LI but haven’t heard anything back yet , hoping for a response soon )that’s the reason for four eggs instead of 5

Pros: Looks great. Simple, boxy, minimal. Brushed aluminum accent has a subtle blurred reflection. Glass offers a great view of interior, no staring at a pointless PSU shroud 1cm from the glass, instead your eyes are filled with hardware. The glass panels do not mount with big bulky screws on every corner, but rather slot into place with the top panel securing it all down. Even the case feet follow the simple aesthetic. The use of space is impressive as you can possibly fit x3 360mm radiators at once. Power supply mounted behind motherboard opens up possibility to mount fans at the bottom directly under a video card. Can fit x9 120mm fans OR x6 120mm fans and x2 140mm fans. When I pre-ordered there were shipping charges, but when payment was charged the shipping was free.
Cons: My case arrived with one of the fasteners from the top panel broken off inside it. Still usable without it as there are 6 more fasteners though. If you want fans on the bottom and you have a USB 3.0 header on the bottom of your motherboard you'll not be able to use it unless you order a low-profile 20-pin internal USB 3.0 extension ($15.00 from modmymods, similar prices from china sellers). There are no cable tie points on the floor of the case. Side panel window wasn't completely flush against the front window. I had to cram something under the side window to push it against the front window as there was a gap between them at the bottom. Stiff tubing pressing against the side panel glass slowly began to separate the lower-front corner of the glass from the metal which fastens it to the case. I found the metal is affixed to the glass with double-sided foam tape and it isn't difficult to pry apart. I took off the metal from the side of the glass that was pealing apart, scraped off the foam tape, and re-affixed it together with 3M VHB. It seems a little more secure now, but I'm still paranoid about that corner peeling off. Like many cases the power LED is a blindingly bright blue LED shining through clear plastic with no diffusion so I unplugged it entirely along with the HDD activity. There is space for two 80mm fans at the back, but no mounting points so you'd have to zip tie them. Some such complaints are being addressed in the O11-AIR. It's possible that the O11-DYNAMIC may receive such revisions. The white version could certainly use some white borders on the outside of the tinted glass over the black borders, as well as a diffused white power LED. PCI brackets do not use thumbscrews. The slots that the tabs on PCI brackets slot into are not tight enough thus can cause significant GPU sag. To keep the case from being "too wide" some width was sacrificed in the main chamber so check your GPU water block compatibility. Generally, if your video card has a wide PCB a standard water block will be too wide unless you can use some adapter to narrow it. At the time of this review the case (especially in white) is rarely if ever in stock. The Q&A section has been full of poor souls asking when it will stock unable to get their hands on it.
Overall Review: I luckily pre-ordered the case in white. Oddly the pre-order button only appeared when I was logged out of Newegg and disappeared when logged in. So I had to add the pre-order to the cart then log in to finish it. Small front glass can be difficult to remove. I have a method that makes it come out easy for me. 1. Place case on floor or table with sides removed. - 2. Press one hand against inside and other hand against outside of the front glass panel (sandwich grip). - 3. If case is empty/light bend down pressing your chest against the top of the case holding it down as you lift the glass upward. Front glass panel should come out. I personally think the unobstructed side+front window approach is superior to a top+side windowed case such as the TT View 37 since I'm usually viewing the case on my desk from a sitting position thus not looking from the top. You can fit a really thick 360mm radiator at the top, but I'd advise against it if you want to mount a longer reservoir upright on the bottom. I removed the positional bracket under the PSU as well as the HDD bay for more space to stuff cables into. If you get any fancy PSU cable extensions or RGB fans they add a ton of bulk to deal with, but the case has a lot of room back there. Steel case is much heavier than Lian Li's typical aluminum builds, but that is the sacrifice for making the price affordable. Steel is also better if your motherboard came with a wi-fi antenna that sticks to the case with magnets as those won't stick to aluminum cases. The front audio ports are not discernible from each other which is fine aesthetically, but if you wanted to know: the top jack is microphone, bottom jack is headphones. There's a small rubber block included with double-sided tape on one side. May be it's for hanging your headphones on, but the tape on it does not appear strong enough to do that. Maybe they should just offer a magnetic puck for that.
