ASUS VENTO 3600 BLK Black 0.8mm SECC ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Great looking case. the black ones look like a Cylon doing his best Darth Vader impression, whisper quiet, decent amount of room for expansion.

Cons: Front door panel somewhat flimsy, internal hard drive bays make a real tight fit if your graphics cards (i.e. 7800 GTX) are long. I had to do some creative positioning with the drive bay runners to make use of the included rubber shock aborbers. Also, It's not a biggie but I had to remove the cone that is located on the side fan's inner side of the case to allow room for larger heat sinks on these dual core AMD CPUS.

Overall Review: I have had a couple of these black cases for the last 15 months and verdict is that this is a decent case. It's very quiet. A real head turner. Just dont' expect to tote this along easily to your fav LAN party. The front panel cover doesn't come up slowly like the old SGI 520s used to but flings upward using a spring loaded arm. Prone to breakage. Also, the top plastic panel tends to pop off if you grab it wrong when lifting. I broke one of mine during what should have been a simple heave-ho. Make sure you have a solid hand hold near the base of this case if you don't want to experience the same fate. I would suggest this case to anyone who would like quiet, room for cards, and good ooks.

Pros: Beautiful case and well designed with a few caveats. plenty of space for everything without undue crowding.

Cons: HEAVY. Requires patience to reassemble without breaking anything. No fan for HDD. No 2nd front vent fan.

Overall Review: This case is NOT a lan party case. The piture is deceptive and you should figure an extra 20% width over a standard size midtower. The case is metal covered by a plastic shell and is seriously heavy once everything is installed. I had difficulty getting the case realigned after installing everything, and spend nearly an hour until I was satisfied (yes, just reassembling the case). I found the air flow to be minimal even with the large 120mm fan in the back and adding a 2nd front vent fan to the unit. I am running SLI and found that reversing the airflow through the case was very effective for keeping my 2 7800GTs at 60 under full load. The HDD have no space for a fan (unlike my older Antec), so I did have to separate my 2 SATA drives to reduce heat. Once the case was back together and the mods done, this has turned out to be an exception case. I would not recommend it to a beginner in building PCs.

Pros: I am very impressed with this case, it is designed for gamers with the looks to bad it up. The airflow in it is amazing, perfect for overclockers on air, i gave my fully watercooled k@@lance pc to my son for this case and im very happy with the results. I highly recommend this case if your an avid gamer.

Cons: Heavy, i dont recommend this case if you're heavy into lan parties, this is a stationary gamers case, you dont want to be lugging this thing around from house to house. Although its flashy looks will get alot of attention :) The side panel takes a little getting used to when closing, have to make sure the plastic is lined up when you line up the chassis to lock it into place, once you figure that out its no problem.

Overall Review: This case is designed for gamers, if you want a case that holds multi disk arrays with multiple optical drives etc... then your not looking for a gaming case, i have 7 pc's networked and all have a specific purpose/use and this one is my gaming case, there is no need for more HD bays etc... anything outside of 1 optical and 2 raid0 hdd is just wasted space for a gaming case. Pros: Like others have stated it is HUGE nuff said. The skis is a plastic shell that can be a little more delicate than other cases. Front door is the only problem I can see, other than there is no button for the reset switch. Parts are easy to order if you happen to break something.As far as the chassis is concerened it is by far the best I have ever used. Strong all metal design with toolless drive bays and expansion slots.this case is heavy because... it is steel!! I have seen Compacs that were heaver and not nearly as easy to work in. The cooling is great, plenty of air flow even with a VIGOR GAMING CLT-M2A 92mm Thermal Electric CPU Cooler this thing is a monster. went in with no problems. The only thing is to be carefull when opening the front door. Other than that it is an extreemly well buit case.

Pros: Obviously it looks amazing. Great paint, unique design, etc. Sturdy case on the inside.

Cons: Only 2 hard drive bays. When using hd coolers you will only be able to fit one hd + hd cooler in the bay. I had to put my second drive up on lowest cd drive bay. It does have good ventilation and is able to be screw'd in one spot. Case door is hard to close flush.

Overall Review: Needs more hard drive bays. There is room for like 3 more. Ventilation could be better. There is only one fan on the left side, not on both. If they added those extra hd bays you could have a fan on both wings and it would be superb for hd cooling. Asus Vento 3600 v2 maybe?

Pros: This is the perfect case, looks great, built well and roomy. I was surprised at how quiet it is yet it stays very cool, there is a tube that brings oustide air directly to cpu heatsink, very well designed.

Cons: Don't worry about reviews concerning its construction, it's solid. But the side door is a bit tricky to get on and off

Overall Review: I recommend it! This case will impress.

Pros: It's ASUS. It's sturdy. The last case I had was made out of flimsy material. This one can take whatever you throw at it. It's shiny, very cool design, and it's roomy enough for all of my components. It's also fairly cool.

Cons: As many have said, the hinged door is a little flimsy and hard to open. The cable organizer on the back is absolutely useless; it actually got in my way so I took it off.

Overall Review: Asus rocks!!!! Newegg rocks!!!! It arrived the second day!!

Pros: It's beautiful, the paint job is top notch, like a sports car as others have said. Nothing but perfection. The front "door" opens upwards as in the photo's. If you are thinking about getting it I'd say go for it; I'm very pleased.

Cons: It's very very big (look at the deminsions) and heavy. The latch for the front "door" is very small and seems to be easily broken. It doesn't always open, or close first time. Probably won't fit inside most computer desks. The side panel can sometimes be annoying to try to put back on correctly.

Overall Review: If you want to close the front "door" effectivly, don't slam, hit, or smash it closed. This generally doesn't work, and could break the small plastic latch. Try closing it slowly up until the point where it looks fully closed, but isn't locked in yet. The give it a hard push until you hear a small click. This worked the overwhelming majority of times with me. Overall an awsome case, I'd definetly buy it again. It's simply beautiful looking in real life.
