GameMax Contac Turbo mid-tower case features a unique one-pc screw easy open glass side window, along with 1x 140mm ARGB fan x front, and 1x 120mm ARGB fan x rear, You can control ARGB lighting and fans via GameMax V2.0 PWM+Rainbow HUB controller(pre-installed), while Adaptive Noise Reduction optimizes via PWM controls.
GameMax Contac Turbo Gaming Chassis was born for Intel Gen 10th CPU cooling solution of system, COC is Cooling & Over-Clocking. It is a new type of heat dissipation structure. A Turbo fan is added to the main board of the chassis to form a new T-type targeted air duct inside the PC system to help cool down various accessories in the PC system.
Additionally, 1x ARGB Sync cable is included which gives user more fun when play the ARGB light. It is easy control either by manual or SYNC mode via top RGB switch. 1x120mm ARGB fan x rear, 1x 140mm ARGB Rainbow fan x front are pre-installed to enhance the aesthetics of your build as see through the Contac's stunning tempered glass panel.
Cons: Poorly translated instructions. LED and fan controller a bit clunky.
Overall Review: The I/O plate sits recessed about 1/2 inch behind the case. Had to install 3 extra standoff for my ATX Mobo. Water cooler doesn't really fit at top unless you had a smaller board.
Pros: -its cool
-runs cool
-design was pretty much 100 percent perfect
-front come off easy, dont feel like Im going to break anything
-great cable management
-great drive optIons
-240mm radiator fits nice.
Cons: - design flaw 1. The turbo fan in the back is in-fact too close to the case wall. Its not a big deal you just have to seat the case wall just right. If you don tho, it rubs.
2. They give you space on the back but if you decide to use a different Rgb hub or fan controller it may be a little thick. I have a commander pro, it fits, but there is a very small unnoticeable bulge.
3. This is me being nit picky, but the fans and Rgb/fan controller are NOT PWM, they have a single pwm cable to connect to your MB to the controller. The rest of the headers on the controller are DC 3 pins
4. Included horizontal support needs work but is a nice touch. 3 slot GPUs probably wont work.
Overall Review: Yes I would recommend this. Especially if you dont care about Rgb like I do. I have complete Corsair set up and it DOES work, you can do it. But if you wanted to, I wouldnt recommend this case for that. Anything else, or if you are fine using their controller? Do it! I love the look and the design.
This is one of the better cases from this company7/6/2022 3:19:16 PM
Pros: -Actually had readable/usable instructions included!
-Airflow is exceptional on this case
-The area where graphics and other cards attach to the case rear with screws is well thought out/designed.
-The case controls are well placed and convenient to use.
-MOST of the installation in this case is good/easy (see exception in Cons section)
-Cable management features are above average on this case.
-Case comes with an RBG controller built in...if you like that sort of thing
Cons: -Holes for side panel screws are punched out, and are not large enough to accomodate the screws. I had to drill out ALL through holes in order to get the screws to work/hold down the parts correctly.
-The way the glass side fits/attaches is very odd, and has a single screw and a tension ball holding the glass in place.
-The Cable management in this case could be laid out and executed better.
-Comes with a built in RGB controller that requires an available SATA power plug from your power supply.
-This Case comes with 1-120mm fan, and 1-140mm fan.... which is somewhat odd size (the 140mm). I would rather see multiple 120mm fans which move more air than a single 140mm fan.
-The area for the power supply is VERY small and tight, particularly IF you use the included 3.5" hard drive mounts. If you install ANY 3.5" drives, there is simply not enough room for them and the power supply cables. I removed the HD carriers, and still had some difficulties fitting all the power supply cables.....and that was with a modular power supply!
Overall Review: -This is one of the better cases this company offers. I have had others cases from this company, and was very disappointed in all of them. I would have never purchased this particular case, had I not seen it in person before buying. So far I am very pleased with this case, although the overall build quality could use improvement, it reminds me very much of Cougar brand cases...... very good value for the money.
Overall Review: I really like this case, fits my Aorus Z390 ATX motherboard with a air cooled cpu cooler. Fits my RTX 3070 ti with about 2 in from the front fans. The difficult part for me was the hdd trays and the amount of room on the backside of the case. If you dont have a modular psu then it might be even more difficult. Overall I love the case and it fits my hardware very well.
Pros: One nice feature is the motherboard fan, designed to move airflow under your m/b. Colored fans are nice, with integrated controller. Separate "chamber" for power supply helps airflow.
Cons: My only complaint is that for some of the PCI slots, I had some trouble with the screws--they'd turn, but not actually move. I had to use a pair of pliers applying upward pressure from underneath while turning the screw in order to get the back plates off. One off, the screws worked fine clamping down the video card though, so this is more of an annoyance than a complaint.
Overall Review: I'd recommend to anyone who knows what they're doing.
Terrible quality but does look nice I guess7/21/2022 8:19:04 AM
Pros: Only a handful of pink options so I regretfully bought this
Comes with a rgb/fan hub
Cons: Thumb screws were all over tightened
Back panel is warped so so it scrubs the rear fan
Extremely low quality and thin material
Overall Review: Quality control is terrible. Multiple stripped screws which were a massive pain to get out. The back side panel is warped and hits the rear fan. Took out the rear filter to see if that was the problem and nope.. its the panel. Unplugged the fan so now theres just a Useless fan in the case. Whoever decided to print TURBO COC(use your imagination why its stupid) on the case should be fired. Ill be taking the front panel apart to spray over the ridiculous text. If I wasnt on a time crunch to get this pc finished for my daughters birthday I wouldve thrown it directly in the trash and ordered a different case.
Pros: Compact and really pretty
Cons: Poorly translated instructions. LED and fan controller a bit clunky.
Overall Review: The I/O plate sits recessed about 1/2 inch behind the case. Had to install 3 extra standoff for my ATX Mobo. Water cooler doesn't really fit at top unless you had a smaller board.
