worthy upgrade for the define s? are the bazels on the tempered glass as big as the normal side panel window?

Actually, it doesn't even HAVE bezels like the acrylic panel. It has psuedo bezels as there is a dark area of the TG which makes it look at though it has a bezel but the TG actually goes from top to bottom, side to side.

No, it is compatible with the Define S and the Define R4, only.

Fractal says this fits on the Define S, Define R4, Core 3300, and Core 3500 and the panel + frame size is 490mm wide x449mm tall

Pretty thick. I'd say about 1/8 inch. The glass is attached to the outside of the original panel, so it's pretty sturdy.

It doesn't matter. It will arrive shattered no matter WHO you buy it from. I bought three, all from different retailers. All arrived shattered. Only when I contacted Fractal design directly and ordered from them did I get one that arrived in packaging that was protected. All the others ship it in a single thin package.
