Does it work with Windows 8?

The cable will work with windows 8; however, I found that even though the cable worked fine the printer I was trying to connect is not compatible with windows 8. I tried to find drivers for the printer that would allow it to work with windows 8 but was unsuccessful. I was trying to connect an HP 820 Cse.
