Good cable, worked when others didn't.6/12/2020 8:42:32 PM
Pros: It's got a VESA certification.
No silly flimsy pushbutton latches to break.
Does it's job properly.
Overall Review: I discovered that for a DisplayPort cable, the VESA certification is quite meaningful. I used another, otherwise very well made cable that had not obtained certification, and it did not function properly with my GTX1650 SUPER and a 2K monitor, where this StarTech.com cable worked just as expected in the same configuration. There are other factors, but the relevant one was that a VESA approved DisplayPort cable does NOT connect pin 20 through. It's a 3.3V power that apparently can disrupt things if the other end isn't expecting or prepared for power to be supplied there.
Overall Review: This cable works using a RTX 2080 Super and LG 32GK650G-B 32" QHD monitor.
I have an older DisplayPort cable and the signal was not geting to the monitor.
Overall Review: I've been using this cable for 6 months without issues. Looks and works great.

Overall Review: This product is displayport certified. You should only get a certified displayport cable as the tech is more complicated than an OG coax cable or something where the quality of the cable doesn't matter. This cable works well. I bought 2. Runs as intended for my dual 2k 144hz gsync monis.
Pros: Got a 1.4 DP for future proofing. Works great with my 144hz gaming monitor. No issues. Great company!
Overall Review: Would recommend to others. This company has some hard to find tech solutions aside from just cables.
