Pros: - 2 PS/2 ports (yes, I still run PS/2 for mouse and keyboard. PS/2 is VERY reliable and saved me when I needed them. A major requirement for my builds) - 2 M.2 slots and a dedicated M.2 for wifi (pretty cool) - Very reasonably priced - ample USB 3.1 gen 1/2 ports - eSATA - Native HDMI and DP (can come in handy if my video card fails) - Pin-outs for COM
Cons: - Not exactly ATX size: industry standards are 12x9.6; this board is 12x9.2. Others mentioned using caution when plugging in the power cords and RAM into the mobo, since excessive force can snap the board. HEED THIS CAUTION! - SATA ports seem loose/flimsy - SATA ports would be better if they faced the front of the computer (I have this board installed in a Rosewill THOR V2 full-size case, so cable management was a bit challenging) - 4 SATA ports instead of 6, however this can be made up with the 2 M.2 ports - I heard that the VRM performance is below average (I haven't noticed any issues) - The placement of the case fan connectors for the front and rear fans do not make sense. The front fan connector should be located towards the front of the mobo, and the rear fan connector should be located towards the rear of the mobo; both are placed in the rear (why?) This resulted me in purchasing a power cable extender for the front fan. - No native USB type C (not a major con- I have a type C connector that I can connect to the mobo header)
Overall Review: Built this PC in August 2019 and after 5 months I am overall very content with this board. I had no issues installing an Intel Core i7-9700 right out of the box. It is great for games (I game occasionally) and excellent for massive amounts of data/imaging processing (LiDAR, ArcGIS/ArcPro). The native 2 PS/2 ports is what gravitated me towards with board (I will hold on to PS/2 for as long as I can). I give this board a 4/5 for the biggest cons I came across: loose SATA ports, slightly smaller than the ATX standard (seriously, without additional support you can snap the board just by putting too much pressure installing the RAM or power cables), and the placement of the front and rear fan connectors.
Pros: 5 way optimization. The sound is just as good as boards that cost twice the price. It has all you need for gaming.
Cons: Not any. I have used Asus for a long time and have NEVER had an issue.
Overall Review: This board will save you money and perform better/same than other boards that cost twice as much. I will always use ASUS when it comes to computers.
Pros: Runs fine with 4 cards, hence 2 eggs instead of 1.
Cons: Won't run any more than 4 GPU's. With latest bios it won't post with more than 4 cards. It runs fine with 4 but no more.Expensive but limited function.
Overall Review: I have always bought ASUS and had nothing but the best boards and great running PC's so I didn't bother looking at reviews. That was a mistake. This board will NOT accept any more than 4 GPU's. It has six slots but there's no way to get it to run with more than 4. Next time I will look at competitors as well... no more blind faith in ASUS.
Pros: - Simple overclocking - Simple drivers installation
Cons: - None so far
Pros: Affordable Excellent automatic case fan profiles for silent running
Cons: Too much flex at the atx connector, 1cm shy of being able to use the next row of case mounts to improve this. No q-code display
Overall Review: Awesome board for short term upgrades
Pros: looks nice, everything was easy to find and install.
Overall Review: I'm very happy with it, this motherboard is not sus.
Pros: Enable 4G for mining is working great. Detected all 6 GPUs. Currently set up with 6 x RTX 3060Ti. Run on Hiveos and going for more than 2 weeks.
Cons: None
Overall Review: I come back to buy it again when good price!
Pros: Just got delivered need more time. first time post for all new hardware. with gen 9 cpu. Based on past reviews this was more than I expected
Cons: none so far (only worked with it for an hour)
Overall Review: I wanted to let you know the version I just received worked properly with a gen 9 cpu (I5-9400) without needing to update the bios. I was hesitant to purchase due to a previous review, but I did have the ability if needed to borrow a gen 8 cpu. There was no need. I bench tested the newly purchased system and it posted properly. installed in a new case and everything went per my expectation and currently running a loop memory test. More will follow. My current rating is based on the first hour with the product. I anticipated a bios update problem and it was resolved prior to shipping.
