GIGABYTE GA-P67A-UD4 LGA 1155 Intel P67 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: * Great Layout IMO, all the places you would attach cables (USB, fans, etc) are on the outside of the board....makes it VERY easy for cable management * loads of documentation, drivers, 4 SATA cables (two are 90 degree) * had no trouble installing it into case (Antec 600), plugging in PSU, and running cables... very easy build * considerable overclocking (havent tried it yet, but its geared for that) * really nice looking * raid support, even on the SATA 6 (Im running two crucial's SSD's) in a raid 0) easy install there too * booted up on the first try and havent had any problems since * when you take the board out of the package you can tell its well-made * i couldnt tell any difference between the onboard sound and my previous mobo's onboard sound... its good enough for gaming/videos but Im not an audiophile that gets nervous if its not perfect so youre mileage may vary

Overall Review: This is the most Ive paid for a mobo and I dont need all the features right now. I may use them someday but what ultimately swung me in favor of it was just aethsetics. It is really sweet looking. Im not disappointed at all and would strongly recommend.

Pros: Runs, I guess.

Cons: SATA slots are giving out. Haven't been able to get anything but my 2 hard drives to post in about 8 months. Can't replace it because I don't have the time or the money.

Pros: Great board, easy plug and play. Put in a crucial 64gb ssd Sata3 drive as my boot OS for windows 7. Runs very fast with no problems. Board looks cool and very solid.

Cons: Lacks IDE, had to use SATA CDrom but that's fine, time to upgrade.

Pros: Detected memory profile and just needed to switch to that profile to run at spec. Great for overclocking, for anything below 4.4Ghz all I needed to change was the multi, 4.5+ needs more tinkering. Board does all the voltage changes for you while OC'ing, making it REALLY easy to take your 2500K/2600K higher... Black PCB looks great and really like the slot layout. Dual bios really helps with overclocking mistakes as well.

Overall Review: Not really a con because I like the oldschool bios, but no UEFI bios (although I've heard that the switch to that is a possiblity in the future).

Pros: This board has a wonderful layout. The heat pipes around the CPU are small enough to let aftermarket coolers on easily. It looks great. No UEFI BIOS, but I won't put it as a con, because the standard BIOS lets me do everything I want to do. The included software is great. It allows for CPU and GPU overclock as well as hardware monitoring, even voltage adjustments from within Win 7.

Cons: Not a con really, but the CPU retention bracket took a disturbing amount of force to close with the CPU in it. With AHCI enabled, the board takes a little longer than I'd like to hand off to the OS, leading to longish boot times.

Overall Review: 2500K running at 4.8GHz@1.375v. Temps about 52 C under load w/ Cooler Master V8 & Haf X

Pros: Easy to install, bios detected everything including USB mouse, keyboard, blank SSD, DDR3 1600 (first boot was 1333, then it went to 1600 on the next boot). And it worked.. unlike the Asus board I returned.

Cons: Audio port is pretty far away from the front of my case (FT02B).. had to stretch the line

Pros: Pretty. Works fine with my DDR3 1600 7-8-7-24 at 1333 9-9-9-27.

Cons: BIOS are just bad. No matter the revision if I try and set my memory over 1333 I get odd POST errors including reverting back to default F4 BIOS and Windows taking several minutes to load. IF Windows actually loads then the board is rock solid but when POST fails or acts weird 2 out of 3 times it can be frustrating. Have not even tried to overclock the CPU yet. Wish I had saved money on memory.....or bought an ASUS. This is my 5th Gigabyte MB in a row and the first with problems. Guess I will give them some time to fix these issues as really do not want to hassle with an RMA.
