Pros: Quality you expect from Gigabyte
Cons: None
Pros: Good dual M2 card support.
Cons: One day after five months it stopped running. I received an A0 code and resetting the CMOS did not fix the issue.
Overall Review: Purchase an extended warranty.
Pros:
- Good board for beginner, intermediate or higher overclockers.
-- BIOS is easy to flash, navigate and use
-- Has all basic and many advanced frequency/voltage settings, and some presets for both skylake & kaby lake processors (the latter assuming you've updated bios)
- M.2 nvme support x2
- BIOS has received many good updates since initial release
- Debug LED can be a huge time saver. Accent LED is in good taste and not overdone. can be changed in bios: on/off/breathe/beat. beat was the same thing as breath for me, didn't look into how it works
- 3 chassis fan connectors
- Lots of internal USB support
- IO shield is just a nice black w/ red icons
Cons:
- You may need to resort to fan splitters if using 4+ case fans
- CPU overclock presets auto voltage settings are unreliable at best. I suppose it comes down to your chip, but I immediately had to up the voltage manually
- We all know you need to apply some force to get ram seated properly. I have never had to apply so much force before this board though
- The description for some debug codes is simply "reserved", and requires independent research
- RAM timing needed to be manually set even with XMP enabled. All other XMP settings worked fine
- Was in a loop of booting then shutting down after solving a few issues with seating ram. Issues with out of the box ram settings, eventually it reset BIOS automatically
Overall Review:
Did not POST on first startup. RAM slots only have a latch on one side, which resulted in me not seating it correctly the fist time. I had to go in on one side first and apply a lot of force. This is a common issue but easy solution as well
MAKE SURE YOU UPDATE YOUR BIOS!! They may be shipped with the latest now, but check because the changes are significant.
Despite the initial trouble, I highly recommend this if you're planning on overclocking, beginner or not. I purchased this board in Q4 of 2016 for $155 on another site. At the time of this review it's $109, which is an absolutely fantastic price for what it offers.
EKWB has a monoblock for this board if that's what you're looking for.
Pros:
- Runs with 7700k Kaby Lake from board, without BIOS upgrade.
- Nice LED and overall funcional.
Cons: - You will need downgrade vcore voltage from 1.275 to 1.2 manually when 7700k kaby lake will be installed.
Overall Review: Nice funcional product, runs with Intel 7-th gen processors without problem from board. Cheap price in combo. Highly recommended.
Pros: Most functionality is as expected. Doesn't stray past normal expectations of a MB.
Cons: Faulty RAM stick slots, I have diffculty Getting more than 2 sticks of RAM to run on the machine at the same time. Constant Blue Screens and sometimes failure to boot.
Pros: Very nice board solid runs great no issues with i5 7600k my first intel build ran smooth highly recommended
Cons: None what so ever
Overall Review: None
Pros: Works for almost a year
Cons:
USB ports failed first
(Power issue)
Then slowly but surely I started getting processors and memory errors running menial tasks like searching with chrome.
Now it's about a week later and my PC is a potatoe thanks to this piece of garbage MOBO. Will never buy again.

Pros: -Looks pretty good
-Well priced
-Stable
Cons: -PCI ports sort of sag with heavy GPU (Don't they all?)
Overall Review: Note- the code A0 on the debug LED does NOT indicate an error with this board, but rather that the Bios has passed over to the hard drive (i.e., probably windows).
