Pros: Preforms great, and was very easy to setup, and looks great. I have really enjoyed the Thunderbolt card, I have it woking with Turtle beach PX5 headset, because this card has built in bluetooth I'm able to use the mic.

Cons: Price is high but the board with the Tbolt card I think make it hurt a little less.

Overall Review: I was also able to use my iphone to overclock this board by bluetooth, this was a nice touch(requires extra app from apple's app store-free)

Pros: Super high quality! Better quality than the previous Rampage III Extreme. Better heat sync design as well. Super stable for overclocking.

Cons: As of 7-14-2011 ASUS has yet to release a BIOS update which enables you to create a RAID on the Marvell 88SE9182 SATA III integrated controller. This controller is PCIe 2x vs the previous 9128 controller which was only PCIe 1x. I hope ASUS releases an update which will enable RAID functionality on this chip. Currently you can only run 2 independent drives on the SATA III controller. If you want to raid with this board, you can only do it on the Intel SATA II Controller at the moment any how. Check on the ASUS ROG forums for updates on the release of the BIOS which may support this functionality.

Pros: Fast, solid, and very high performance. The BIOS has many adjustments, and are easy to figure out. The board installed with ease, and booted right up without fanfare.

Cons: The left channel of the sound card has no sound. I bought and installed a separate sound card with no other issues. The Thunderbolt was not installed, so I cannot respond to its effectiveness. I knocked off one egg for the sound not working properly.

Overall Review: This was a new build. I7-970 CPU, SSD Boot, three Raptors in Raid0, Thermaltake Xazer VI aluminum case, 12gb of Skill Memory, blah, blah, blah. I am very happy with the overall build and performance.

Pros: Upgrade from Asus Rampage III Extreme to Black Edition. OC and benchmark for 24+ hrs. w/o a problem. Great powerful board. Nice black finish. more features to play with. Thunderbolt works flawlessly.

Cons: Just a bit pricy, but well worth it.

Overall Review: Do yourself a favor and get this board! If I had to nitpick it would be on 2 things: 1. Northbridge fan should be built in with board not an optional screw on fan. 2. Sticker on the WLAN is cheap and wants to peel off.

Pros: All the features the motherboard is supposed have. The mobo is loaded with just about all the features you could ask for on a single motherboard.

Cons: The board could not be used since day 1 (purchased on 08/03/2011). I RMA'd my unit because Newegg sent me back the motherboard indicting the board is physically damaged (I cannot agree, since I was not aware of any damage and neither did technicians at Asus). First RMA took about 2 weeks. It came defective again. I wasted about half a day trying to figure out what was wrong with it until I decided to RMA again. Second RMA took another 2 weeks. It came back defective again! I found out that ASUS just sent me back the motherboard after just testing the board. No documentation regarding what has been tested. I am becoming skeptical about their test, since there is no record of exactly what has been tested. I have tried the motherboard with 2 different sets of components. Both of the sets are working fine on my other boards. They also are listed under qualified vendors list. I need to RMA again, but not sure if the problem will ever be resolved at this rate.

Overall Review: ASUS RMA sucks. The RMA number cannot be located online. Phones are constantly not working, so you can't reach them. Even when you do get to talk to them, they sound like they don't really care about the situation. I even had a guy hanging up a phone on me. Another person told me they are tech support team and not customer service representatives when I told them I had a person hanging up a phone call on me. My 4th RMA was supposed to be a cross ship. I sent mine in on 02/10/2012, delivered to them on 02/14/2012. Asus still do not even have my replacement unit's shipping information as of 02/15/2012.

Pros: I have no issues with this motherboard. It is very compatible and versitile. I have not yet used it to its top potential . But it is a top grade (my opinion) motherboard, Just what you would expect from ASUS. A gammers dream

Cons: Motherboard cons.... None. It was somewhat hard to hook up due to hard to understand instructions, But with a little hard work I was able to get all to work well. As I said before a good product just what you would expect from ASUS. I had read other reviews before I bought this product and was somewhat worried about the thunderbolt issues others were having. however I did not to seam to have these same problems. One other thing USB 3.0 yea right ASUS does not even have the header plug needed to use the port How disapointing.

Overall Review: To my dismay, whall this is a good product the support for it leaves a lot to be desired. ASUS may make a good top of the line product, But their support staff knows nothing about their own product. It did take a long time to get all things up and running due to the runaround I got from them. They even told me at one point that the board was no good and needed an RMA. Well I did not except that answer and figured out the problem myself with some outside help. If you are building you first comp. understand this you will be on your own on this one. The support is nothing like it was in the past. ASUS whats the problem???????? if these isues were not a factor a 5 rating would have been a given.

Pros: Best Motherboard I have had in decades. Rock solid, handles overclocking well. Good throughput all around.
