Cons: not much, you get what you pay for and I got it for $600

Pros: easy install super stable works with ECC/non-ECC just fine 10G built-in ethernet is great, considering the cost of some adapters
Cons: seems to boot very slowly the first time occasionally fails to overclock with the AI (auto gave us 6%, which is fine for now)
Overall Review: still can't find anything that works with the Tesla K80 card, including this board... the chipset drivers from the website fail to install, but windows update got everything sorted out the RAM compatibility list needs more selections, only one part was in stock at Newegg

Pros: Easy setup Easy to flash the bios Works with the OEM Xeon E5-2996 V4 (22 cores/44 threads)
Cons: The bios would not show all the cores. I have an OEM Xeon E5-2996 V4 cpu (22cores/44threads). It only shows 18 cores but I read that even a retail Xeon E5-2999 V4 (same as 2996) would only show 18 cores. This might have something to do with both processors being locked. In Windows 10 Pro, all 22 cores and 44 threads were recognized.
Overall Review: This board uses the X99 chipset. I get a better video score with 3D Mark using my EVGA Classified board. This is because I can overclock my i7-6950X up to 4.5 Ghz. The Xeon 2996 will only go up o 2891 Mhz. I can live with that....

Pros: - Very sturdy - Easy to install - User friendly BIOS
Cons: - It's expensive. - It does not officially support over 128Gb of ECC RAM.
Overall Review: I recently purchased this board (at the 'shipped and sold by Newegg' price) for a data science build. It is much more heavy duty than boards I have worked with in the past, fit into the Corsair 750D case with no issues, and has been a breeze to work with. It's overkill for a gaming rig, but if you are building a machine for number crunching (xeon processor, ecc ram, multiple gpus, etc) then this board makes a great choice.
