Pros: Let me just preface this by saying......I'm poor.......really poor. When this came up around Christmas time for about $79.00 after rebate, I said "oh well so the kids miss a couple of meals. I couldn't pass up the chance to get into an x79 board for so little money. EVGA did send the rebate in a timely manner so I am very happy with the whole buying experience and am happy with the operation of this board. My hungry kids however are not.
Cons: My kids went hungry for a bit.
Overall Review: It's now late June and I finally scraped enough money together to go down to my local big brick and mortar, you know, the one that sells processors really cheap to bring you in the store. I bought my I7 3820 processor and ran out because I didn't want to get tempted to buy anything else because I had no extra money. I'm poor, I probably already mentioned that. Anyhow.....I'm in the x79 family and my kids didn't lose that much weight so it's all good.
