Does a hard drive come with this?

If this Business storage HD is connected to a wireless router, allow me to save from my laptop wirelessly...meaning that the laptop will just have an icon on it representing the HD and I can just drag and it will save it to the NAS without being connected via cable?

Yes, I routinely save and retrieve files to and from this NAS. It will show up in your network; and you can create a Network Location and/or a Mapped Network Drive for it for extra convenience, or just access it from the list of network devices. Set user and/or group partitions and permissions anyway you like.

Question 3

How do you set this up on a domain? Server is Server 2003 and we'll be replacing the server next year and the hope was to use this to get us by until then.

I saw a place where it showed me it was on the standard "WORKGROUP" workgroup, but didn't see a way to change it to a Domain.

I sold this to a customer to replace their server that was only sharing folders.

The unit connected directly to the router. The shared folders are can be accessed by mapping the network.

The software does a pretty good job helping you determine shared privileges to any folder you set up.

Each folder you create to share will have a drive label along with the I.P. address.

The unit can run concurrent with the existing server.
