Pros: nice quality keyboard, 12 programmable G-keys, LCD display can play videos, cycle through pictures and other programs can utilize it.
Cons: Logitech's software for the LCD screen could use a couple extra features. first of all, the clock feature displays the time as a wall clock with no option to display it in digital. it would also have been nice if they had included a CPU temp monitor with the performance monitor. the video playback feature lacks basic functionality like continuous playback, shuffle, and repeat. if you play a video, it will play the video and stop. you have to manually select the next video you want to watch and hit play. what makes this even more weird is that the picture viewer does these things so it's not like they didn't think of it. however, these more nitpicks than cons. i'd much rather have the LCD screen as is than not have it at all.
Pros: This keyboard is a must-have for anyone who likes to customize everything. There are a lot of options available. The back-lighting on the keys are almost infinitely adjustable. The keys themselves feel good. The texture on the keys is such that your fingers won't slide easily, even in tense gaming situations. The resolution on the LCD screen is spectacular. Nice and large. Colors are very bright, and image quality is good. The menu is easy to navigate and just as customizable as the rest of the keyboard. The screen tilts as well so its always easily visible no mater the seating position. The 12 extra keys on the left side come in handy. You can assign anything to those. A certain keystroke, an application, anything. You're also able to hold down 5 keys simultaneously for complex maneuvers.
Cons: Being a powered keyboard, I have to use yet another power strip to power everything at my desk. A minor flaw that doesn't deter from the keyboard. The volume wheel doesn't react as quick as I'd like. You have to scroll it somewhat slow for the volume change to register. When using the darker colors for the back-lighting on the keys, the light is somewhat dim, which makes the keys somewhat hard to read in a lighted room unless you're looking straight down on the keyboard. When I received my keyboard, there was a small spec of dirt on the inside of the LCD screen. Easily fixed by taking apart the screen and cleaning it out.
Overall Review: I went from a G15 keyboard to this keyboard. I enjoy having the full color LCD screen that works with many games I play. With Borderlands, it allows you to view several screens in-game such as current jobs, weapons levels, and experience level and money. I imagine it works similarly with other games as well, but haven't tried any yet. There is a list of compatible games on Logitech's website. Logitech is a great company. I would trust anything from their product line. I have 4 or 5 products from them and haven't had a problem with a single one. The G15 I upgraded from for this didn't have anything wrong with it, I just wanted this keyboard and couldn't afford it at the time. And Newegg's shipping is amazing. I almost always get what I ordered within a day or two, even when ordering on Sunday.
Pros: The keyboard has basically no flaws for me. It is really an amazing keyboard.
Cons: The only flaw is the sorta dull blue color it has compared to how bright all the other colors are. (The red looks awesome). The biggest con overall is that it is a complete waste of money. The money you pay for the little LCD screen on the keyboard is pretty obscene. Buy the g110 keyboard for 75$ less, and buy you a 20 inch monitor instead. It is literally the same keyboard as the G110 except it has an LCD screen that you will never use if you have a second monitor.
Overall Review: Its a great keyboard, but sorta useless. The G110 is just a better buy.
Pros: Screen is great for monitoring system info while in-game. Media keys also great for changing tracks without having to minimize the game you're playing. Color of the backlighting on most keys can be changed to any color you can imagine. Overall build quality is very solid; seems to be built like a tank; the screen isn't as fragile as it looks. The finish, while simple, is very neat, easy to keep clean, resists fingerprints, and had absolutely no flash, moulding lines, or any other imperfections on it. The wrist rest also provides a great deal of traction on the desk; during the week or so I had mine, it never once slid out of place. Lots of apps available for the screen, and one can control various Teamspeak 3 and Ventrilo functions from in-game using the screen and control keys.
Cons: The typing feel is terrible; it feels like there are packing peanuts under the keys; no feedback at all. The screen causes MAJOR compatibility issues with SLI and Crossfire video card setups; Logitech knows this, but won't mention it unless you call their tech support; not cool. The color of the keys is not adjustable on the function keys at the top, so you will always have orange lighting up there, and while this isn't that big a deal, the color of all the main keys will always be the same; you cannot change each key independently, like one of the other Logitech keyboards. The main gripe I have with the lighting is that, while there is virtually no bleed-through light between the keys, the key symbols are only half-lit, making them very hard to read, and the color tends to be very washed-out, unless you use a select few colors. Getting the screen to do what you want can be time-consuming and frustrating; be prepared to dig around for an app that does what you want, and works.
Overall Review: I can't think of any reason to recommend this keyboard to pretty much anyone. If you type alot, you'll want something that doesn't feel like a $20 keyboard. If you game alot or have an SLI/Crossfire setup, you really don't want to deal with this thing's problems. If you don't want to mess around with it for a few hours just to dig up an app that does what you want and get it to work properly, this isn't the one for you. If you need a keyboard that lights up for easier key-finding in a dark room, this wouldn't be a good choice for that reason, either, since the lighting is so...weak, for lack of a better descriptive term; the only colors that really seem to 'pop' on this keyboard are magenta, plain green, orange, and white...if you want another color, it will be very bland if you have any light at all shining on the keyboard (even monitor light). I still have to give it three eggs, because it's built like a brick house, looks very nice, and has a VERY wide range of personalization.
Pros: Good number of macro keys, bright LCD, and nice features make the G19 a worthwhile keyboard. It works perfectly with legacy software from Logitech. I use the legacy software because many of the functions don't work well with the newer software. You can't get the same level of control and functionality out of the limited newer software.
Cons: I don't know what happened to Logitech's build quality, but it has gone from exceptional to horrible. When I bought my first G19 the build quality was great. The coating on the keys were durable and the printing on the keys was perfect. There were no defects at all. Now I buy a G19 in February 2012 and the build quality is cruddy. The first one I had to RMA because the coating on the keys was uneven to the point of being blotchy. It looked as if Logitech's manufacturer applied it with a brush. Big sections were different than other sections along the keyboard. So I received the replacement. It too was in a sealed box. This one is at least mostly in order, except the right App key has a broken edge at the bottom. It's nice a big deal, but quality assurance should have caught this and fixed it. Now I'm left debating whether I want to return this one too or contact Logitech and try to get that one key replaced.
Overall Review: I have owned one of these G19 keyboards since the G19 was first released. Now I own a second from a recent purchase. If I was ever to buy another keyboard, I probably won't be getting a Logitech again. This use to be an amazing keyboard.
Pros: I have had Many a Logitech Keyboard and all of them have been top notch items. I have the G15, G510 and now I run the G19. All of them pretty much the same. Software is pretty much the same. The last two have great color changing LED's in them to change the color to whatever you want. Very nice and gives you a nice change of pace. Software that comes with the unit very nice. Preset buttons if say you want to play WOW then you have all of your head up info on the screen. Personally I don't play WOW but my son does. I gave him my G510 and kept this new G19.
Cons: Polling rate is not changeable that I have found. Like the G15 and the G510 if you type really fast there are times when letters are missing cause of the polling rate must be stock at around 500. Another problem and this seems to just be with this new G19 is if you let the computer sit awhile and not use the Keyboard. The keyboard seems to disappear??? I mean I go to type and nothing works. No letters at all. I have to pull the USB cord and plug it back in to get the keyboard to work again??? Not good and I have never seen this problem out of a different Logitech keyboard before. Problem 3 is that the SPACE BAR squeaks! LOL! Yep every time I hit the space bar it SQUEAKS like it needs oil or something. I hate sending items back to NewEgg cause that cost you your own money :( to fix a problem that is not your fault. Another problem is the heads up screen on it never goes to what you want. Always goes into the main menu screen and you have to select what you want.
Overall Review: The keyboard feels like all of the past keyboards from Logitech. The little LCD screen looks very nice and the graphics on it seem rather decent. But that is where the good points end. The G510 was a much better keyboard than this one. Key strokes feel like an old keyboard right off the bat. I have not even had this keyboard a month and the keys sound and feel not new feeling and the squeak from the SPACE board is driving me crazy. I would suggest to anyone not to buy this board and instead grab the G510. I purchased a few G510's and sold them and they are solid keyboards. the G19 seems like a revamped G510 with a fancy screen but does not live up to the G510 in feel or quality. I gave it 3 Eggs because I like it's look but truly it's a 2 egger!
Pros: Excellent. In nearly every way. You can make the background keys any color with RGB 0-255. The keys aren't terribly loud (somewhat louder than my previous keyboard). The screen is very bright for any environment (I had to turn mine down since my room is dark) and is full of color. The screen is adjustable for any person's sitting height. Haven't messed with the macro's much, yet. I have my Razer Naga for that.
Cons: The applications are very lacking. To the point it's disappointing. Supports World of Warcraft, but I want to personalize the information that WoW displays and that's not possible. I've done hours of search for an app that an external source has made to no avail. Also, the software for the keyboard must be on for the display to work, which is somewhat of a pain since it's buggy. You can have the application button either go directly to the next screen or have it bring up an application list. The button often glitches and you have to have it bring up the list to go anywhere. The display all around is just... disappointing, and it's all because Logitech hasn't put forth any extra effort. Huge let-down since this keyboard has SO MUCH potential.
Overall Review: External power supply required for the keyboard lighting to work (including screen), but you can plug it in only through USB if you just need to type something. Just takes away the perks. There's some developer applications out there for the LCD screen, along with software to create your own screens, but I really wish more people supported this epic keyboard with apps...

Pros: The LCD screen is pretty cool. So many 3rd parties use it. I love it that I can use winamp and it automatically pops up the artist album downloaded from the internet within a second. I really love the 2 USB ports (2.0) on the keyboard, just very handy when you want to plug something in quick.
Cons: THE LCD has tons of 3rd party user support, many are buggy though. I keep hitting the G12 key. (bottom left, by CRTL). You also can't turn off the LCD without the software.
Overall Review: Good high end keyboard. Not loud. good USB ports.
