Pros: So far, I'm very happy with this monitor. 2560x1440 is a nice jump up from 1080p, it's not as noticeable as going from 1080p to 4k but the picture definitely looks more crisp than 1080. The biggest improvement for me is making the jump to 144hz. It's amazing......simply amazing. I always thought it was just hype but after seeing it for myself......I can clearly see it's not. Well worth the price in my opinion (when it's on sale). The 32" screen is nice, there is a little backlight bleed but not noticeable in games, only on black screens (like loading screens). Freesync is a plus but I'm running a gtx1070ti and with vertical sync, I haven't seen any tearing, runs smooth as butter. To anybody that isn't aware, the included HDMI cable isn't capable of 144hz, you have to use the included display port cable. Windows will not automatically change the refresh rate to match the monitor. Go to settings, click display, click advanced display options. You should see an option for display modes, click that and scroll through until you see the option for 2560x1440 144hz and there ya go. Comes with a separate controller (huge plus, makes menu navigation much more simple) for the menu system that plugs into the monitor and has a fairly long cord.
Cons: There are no instructions included, there is a quick start quide that leaves a lot to be desired. For a full manual, you have to go to AOC's website and download it, even then I feel like there is a lot of information left out. It was quite the chore to figure out how to make this monitor and windows work together to display 2560x1440 @ 144hz (as explained a bit further below). The menu is a bit outdated but still suffices. While not really a con, changing certain options in the monitor menu limits the refresh rate that windows recognizes. I wasn't aware of this, so when I played games and noticed that it was only displaying 60hz I was a bit perturbed. I did some research, but the amount of information on this monitor is abysmal. I finally reset the monitor to factory, changed the color mode to srgb, looked back in the display settings and voila, there was the option for 1440p @ 144hz.
Overall Review: The LED lights at the bottom are a nice touch and can be changed to blue, green or red. Stand feels pretty sturdy, overall build design is nice. The curved screen is awesome, don't think I can go back to a flat panel. I definitely recommend this monitor if it's on sale. I purchased mine for around $350, at full price I would say that you can find better monitors.
