Hi - Whats the hard disk like is it...SATA ?

It is a standard 5400 RPM SATA hard drive. You can swap it out for a SSD and increase performance quite a bit.

Do you expect to get any more of this model in soon?

Will I buy this model again soon. No, but I do buy ASUS computers. I've never had one give me a problem. I owned several HPs where the hinge went bad.

Where can I purchase a batter charger for this laptop?

Any good multi-adapater charger will work. I have one from Targus I use at home while I keep the smaller OEM one in my backpack

What pre-installed apps come with it?

The usual Microsoft office trial, games. This laptop with win 8 is geared more towards apps.
