Great Product, Exactly as Advertised

Pros: I love the pairing of the strong graphics card with the high refresh rate display. This is the the perfect Laptop for portable gaming. I love the ability to 3D model straight off my portable laptop and the large ssd and good port selection make this a dream for creatives and productivity. The speed of the SD card slot is also nice to have. The RGB keyboard at this point is just an added bonus.

Cons: There is nothing bad that I can say about the Aero 15W.

Beautiful, Clean and Sharp

Pros: - Computer is reasonably lightweight.
- RGB keyboard is gorgeous and highly customizable using built-in software. Keystroke noise is gentle and oddly satisfying.
- The GTX 1060, while not top-of-the-line by any means, consistently defies expectations. Video and photo editing are a breeze. The only time I've noticed any sort of downgrade in performance is when I'm performing process intensive tasks or playing high-spec video games on low battery - this is expected, and not a con, per se.
- ALL video games in my collection run smoothly at high to ultra specs. I've been playing "The Witcher 3" on high settings without any degradation in performance, nor noticeable lag or choppy framerate.
- The chassis is sharp and clean looking - a nice break from over-designed gaming laptops and the soft minimalism of MacBooks. It is aesthetically pleasing and refreshing.
- The display is gorgeous and images are crisp. The super-thin bezel helps increase immersion in bot work and play.

Cons: Truthfully, none of these things are true 'cons'. All of the comments below are things that are, frankly, reasonably expected, and can't really be helped due to the nature of computers. I'm going to pick on a few things that I just don't enjoy personally - this product is easily deserving of five stars.
- Battery heats up very quickly while performing CPU/GPU intensive tasks while charging.
- Under heavy load, fan noise is loud.
- Battery life is short under heavy load - about two hours while playing graphically intensive video games.
- The green chassis is VERY green. I mostly like it, but dang is it green.

Other Thoughts: - I highly recommend this laptop to anyone with a little money to throw around that desires a clean, sharp and professional-looking computer that can handle the day-in and day-out tasks of business and play.

Great looking, slim, and powerful gaming laptop with one flaw

Pros: -Great looking green exterior and sturdy build
-Slim and portable with an i7700 and 1060 power
-Nice performance in game, around 60FPS in PUBG with mostly ultra settings, no throttling
-15 inch display crammed into a 14 chassis due to bezeless build.
-A laptop I feel fairly future proof about especially with the eGPU capabilities of thunderbolt 3, and easily upgradeable ram and SSD slots.

Cons: -Display suffers from backlight bleed, fairly noticeable in one corner, even in a fully lit room. This is a known problem with the model which has been discussed on several forums. Its really the only flaw I have noted, but for the price, Gigabyte should quality check its displays much better. I am only taking away 1 egg for this, but it maybe a bigger deal to others, depending on your display

Other Thoughts: -Temps are in the high 70's c when gaming but can shoot up into the mid 80's c mid game at times, even with unobstructed airflow around vents.
-The MaxQ 1070 model is rumored to be coming out soon at the time of writing this. Might be worth holding out for that model
-Comes with some bloat-ware, some is worth keeping some is not.

Good product, horrible customer service!

Pros: -Beautiful screen, love the thin bezel
-Lightweight, good for travel
-Nice RGB keyboard
-Good amount of ports
-Long battery life when watching YouTube videos or doing work
-Excellent performance when playing games, have played multiple on Ultra

Cons: The laptop itself doesn't have many cons--the webcam is alright, as is the trackpad. Haven't run into many issues. HOWEVER, a month after I purchased this I noticed a couple of dead pixels at the bottom of the screen. Obviously it doesn't effect performance, but it is quite annoying and I wanted to make sure I got it fixed before it got worse. This worried me because of seeing many bad reviews on Gigabyte's customer service, some of which led to people never buying from them again. I took a chance because the laptop in theory was perfect for my needs, but I understand now what the reviews are about. Navigating Gigabyte's website for warranty details is a pain, so I decided to call and waited 30 minutes for customer service to tell me to just e-mail them. I received an e-mail instructing me to send some pictures in of the pixels so I did. Clearly in the pictures there were only a few, yet no one said anything. They simply said to send it in. Upon my reading reviews I also saw that Gigabyte does not pay for shipping nor do they fix your product/reimburse you if it is damaged in the mail. Because of this I paid 60$ to FedEx to ensure full coverage if anything happened during shipping. After about a week of waiting, I received an e-mail telling me that they would not fix my laptop because there were only 3 dead pixels, not 5. According to their warranty, you must have AT LEAST 5 dead pixels for them to fix it. I understand that this is in the warranty, but there was absolutely no warning when I sent the images and with how hard it is to find any information on their website I had no idea that this was a thing. So, not only did they not fix my laptop, but it took about 3 or 4 days for them to ship it back even though they weren't doing anything with it, and then another week for it to arrive at my doorstep. Communicating with customer service after I sent my laptop in was a nightmare. The e-mails are uninformative and unprofessional. Therefore I will continue to enjoy my laptop, but I am highly doubtful that I will continue to be a Gigabyte customer.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this to other people if they are willing to risk dealing with horrible customer service and wasting their money.

Best in Class

Pros: To keep it short, this laptop will not disappoint. Whether you are a gamer, creator, student, or casual user, you will find something about this product that will make your life so much easier. Some pros:
-The screen is nice, bright, and color accurate.
-The keyboard is RGB and including a number pad is a great plus for people needing to input numbers a lot.
-The battery life is long when doing light work and manageable when gaming.
-The performance all around is fast and snappy. Can easily push more recent games on high/max settings and get a playable frame rate.
-The amount and variety of ports.
-The space for expansion with two m.2 slots and two ram slots.
-The laptop as a whole is pretty light and definitely small but packs a punch.

Cons: Not much to complain about however, for the price, some of these things really shouldn't have to be a concern.
-The trackpad is alright, but there are plenty of better quality ones out there on laptops of similar prices.
-The Webcam is meh.
-The preinstalled software is quite excessive.
-There has been issues with certain keyboard combinations that aren't read when pressed. After updating drivers it gets a little bit better, but I have still been having issues with some combos.
-This one is actually quite annoying, but there is no indicator to tell if Capslock or Numlock is on on the keyboard itself.
-(THIS IS MINOR AND ONLY AN ISSUE WITH THE AESTHETIC) The rubber bumper going around the screen doesn't fully go all the way around. This leaves a small gap between the bottom bezel and one of the side bezels.

Other Thoughts: As you can tell, The cons are relatively minor compared to how great the rest of this laptop is. If you are considering it, buy it. You won't regret it as it is currently one of the best and if not the best in it's class right now. 4/5 but only because there are some issues that still need to be smoothed out, especially for a laptop of this price.

Best Value for Money - Powerful, Loaded , Thin and Portable laptop for Developer and Gaming

Pros: Very light for a powerful laptop
Love the screen colors , Wide and thin bezel
2 x M2 Slots
Thunderbolt 3 port - 4 Lanes
Great cooling
Good Built Quality
Great Battery life for normal usage about 7hr on Internet, Work Processing.
Good port selections
Upgradable RAM, SSD
Configurable backlight keyboard, Fanvery
Colors are very accurate.
Accurate Trackpad

Cons: Non Touch Screen
The lower bezel of the screen is about 1 inch holds the logo...could have been used for the actual screen
Ugly logo on front... wished it it would have been only a discrete shorthand "G" Logo instead of the whole word "GIGABYTE" in on top of the screen.
Windows HOME ...
Plastic build but sturdy.
Speakers could have been better with more bass.

Other Thoughts: Was looking for an all inclusive package Laptop for Developer and occasional Gaming.
This came on top of my list among others like Razer Blade, XPS 15. What tilt the mydecision towards this one was the feature list , and upgradability.
Uninstalled the laptop and reinstalled Window 10 Pro easily and installed the Smart Update Software from their site which helped installing missing drivers in a breeze. Only drivers which had to be installed manually by downloading from their site instead of the smart update utility is the elan drivers for the trackpad ( Check Device Manager to help identify if all drivers are properly installed).

Runs cool and played Hitman Demo smoothly. Havent tried other games yet but with the gfx card Im sure it can handle anything with great resolution.

Will probably add a primary 1TB NVMe SSD ( comes with a slower version) and another 16 GB RAM.

Would give 5 star if the cost would have been cheaper

The best high performing laptop out there!

Pros: - Bezel-less, color accurate, IPS display
- Light up keyboard with customization options
- Wide array of ports, including Thunderbolt 3 (useful for an external GPU option down the road)
- Great thermals / low fan noise (after a thermal repaste and undervolting it has the potential to perform at crazy low temps)
- Second NVMe slot + RAM slot
- Incredible space management to get the most out of the keyboard and the screen.
- Comfortable and satisfying to type on.
- The build quality really feels great. It is almost entirely aluminum.
- USB charging port on the charger brick. Great for charging your phone.

Cons: - Can't be charged via USB C (but is there a high end laptop that can?)
- Some keys, like the ESC key, require some force to be registered.
- Track pad and clicking (you can configure it to your liking, but it won't necessarily be perfect)
- CL 17 RAM (CL 14 would have been better, but it works in duel channel with CL 14 RAM (both clocked at CL 15 ~2133mhz)
- Keyboard needs to be updated for certain key combinations to work.
- NVMe SSD that runs at SATA speeds (fix: replace system drive with EVO/PRO 960 NVMe)
- Camera angle is a little weird, and therefore probably not worth using.
- Smart Manager software does not work well with auto brightness. It constantly notifies you of any change, so I uninstalled. Note: There's a sub program, emptyproject11.exe, that comes with Smart Manager. It drains battery life and is not needed with an updated drivers / system.
- The screen will fall if it is angled closer to horizontal than vertical. The screen can't be pushed all the way back.

Other Thoughts: - Undervolted the CPU to 0.130v and the graphics to -0.130v and saw some improved thermals.
- Repasted CPU and GPU, did not notice any change.
- Key presses have a very solid feel and sound to them. It's like typing on an old typewriter, and I like that a lot.
- I might have preferred a keyboard that did not have number pad, but at the same time I'm glad that it has one. Note: Since most content is offset to the left anyway, it makes sense for the keyboard to offset too.
- The computer can only be woken up via power button and not via keyboard or mouse.
- The battery drained to 50% after watching a 1080p 1h 35m movie output to our 4k TV (battery saver off / screen closed).
- It feels pretty hefty but it's not especially heavy. It's lighter than the very old laptop that I have had for 8 years.
- The green is really cool! I just don't understand the red / orange accent colors seen on most gaming laptops.
- Display profile settings won't carry over with a fresh new install. You will have to backup your display profile.

I'm very happy with this laptop! I'm glad that I went with this one over the other contenders, like the Dell XPS or the Razer. It's in my opinion the better choice. The Dell XPS is what I considered getting instead. If you want something cheaper, not as powerful, a little bit shorter, and with a 4k touch screen, it might be the better choice. There are some serious quality concerns with the XPS (mostly software related, but hardware issues can be found too).

Awesome Laptop for a Developer/Gamer on the Go

Pros: -Sleek Form Factor with a near non existent bezel
-Specs are fantastic for both gaming and development (Use Unity, Visual Studio, Unreal Engine, and Lumberyard for Game Development and it handles these very well)
-RGB Backlit keyboard, some may not like it but I enjoy the ability to highlight certain keys in different colors based on what program I'm in
-Fans aren't terribly loud even at max in a quiet room as far as laptops go, you can definitely hear them but it's a low pitch whooshing sound rather than the standard laptop fan squeal
-Stays cool in comparison to other thin and light gaming laptops, had a Razer Blade 14 that I returned to get this and that thing was boiling compare to this while gaming
-Rather LIght, roughly 5lbs with power brick in the bag, barely feel it in my backpack
-Power Brick is slim and not a huge brick thankfully, has an USB 3.0 port for charging phones and iPads which is handy, saves a USB port on the laptop that I might otherwise use to charge my phone also lets me charge my Anker Portable Battery too!

Cons: -Though Fans are quiet at full, every fan setting except "Quiet Mode" in Smart Manager has them spin at 2000rpm when Idle which means it is always making some noise, I stopped noticing it about 10mins into using the laptop though without headphones on
-ESC key on mine requires a bit more force to use and it is a Membrane style keyboard from the feel, I actually kind of like the resistance it gives since I tend to type hard but if you're super picky about this or don't like membrane caps it may be an issue.
-Does have about 6 programs as far as "Bloatware" the only two I kept were Gigabyte Fusion and Smart Manager v3, Fusion is the software to control the keyboard backlighting and macros, Smart Manager must be installed for your Fn keys to work (As far as I've found, I may have missed something, plus it gives fan control and some other useful tools, awful looking though.

Other Thoughts: -Haven't heard any Coil Whine in my Laptop, though power brick does have a very slight whine that can be heard if it's level with your head.
-Small amount of backlight bleed in bottom corners, though otherwise it's a beautiful screen and I don't notice the bleed in day to day use.
