With its Triton 75, Asus offers users a cooler that can adjust to their future needs. Its four sealed 6mm copper heat pipes draw heat away from the CPU and up into the array of aluminum cooling fins. Its compact design allows it to fit into most cases and its raised configuration keeps it clear of "component conflicts" with motherboard items.
The cooler supports both Intel's LGA755 socket Core 2 Duo processors as well as AMD Athlon 64 CPU's that use Socket 939, 940 and the AM2/AM2+ systems. It installs easily onto the motherboard without requiring its removal.
Out of the box, the Triton 75 provides fanless cooling for smaller, lower powered systems or in cases with good airflow. It’s designed to allow the user to install the 120mm fan of their choice for maximum DIY flexibility while balancing cooling and sound levels.
