How many? one or four fans? The title says "fan" but the picture shows 4 fans and there isn't any description.

Hey dude, ya it’s a 4 pack I can vouch since I’ve bought them before several times. Cougar is good quality fans at a nice price. To me they are better than noctua.

How well would these work on a coolermaster 212 Evo CPU Cooler?

I actually have one of them currently on a Hyper 212 Evo and it works great. I have an i7-4770k (not OC'd) and I don't get above high 40's for my temp on high load. The only difference with this and the stock fan is that the stock speed varies (PWM) while this is constant. Plus it matches the 5 other orange Cougar fans in my case, so there's that.

What does case fan compatibility checking is not support mean?

The question doesn't appear to make sense.  "Case fan compatibility is not support" doesn't mean anything... it's words thrown together.  However, case fan compatibility would suggest if your case can hold four fans (or more or less) and if those case fan ventilation openings can support 120mm fans.

If a buyer's case has 1-4 (or more) available ventilation slots that allow 120mm fans to be installed, I do recommend these fans.  They are quiet, even with all 4 spinning at maximum speed, they are quieter than my single GPU fan spinning at 50%.
They also have tremendous air flow.  I use these 4 Cougar Turbine fans in 2 front in-take fans and 2 top-mounted exhaust fans along with a single 90mm stock (came with case) rear exhaust fan, and that setup keeps the internal ambient case temperatures at ambient room temperatures.  That's to say, working along with my CPU and GPU fans, the inside of my box is no warmer than the air outside of my box.  And, I can barely hear them.
