or turn it off in bios to run an external drive?
32 gb is way too small and almost full

Yes, in the BIOS setup, you can change the boot drive to be the external drive that you attach via the USB port. You would have to format the usb drive as a bootable drive first.... I hope this helps...

Does the windows 10 come with a license product code(key) ?

Yes - Windows 10 Home. Just be aware there is no RDP inbuilt in the Home edition, and the latest 'creators update' from MSFT broke RDP Wrap (looks like a fix may be available now). So running this headless might prove challenging.

Is this capable of sending audio through the HDMI cable to the TV? The Audio out implies not.

Yes. I have this hooked up to my TV via HDMI and I do get audio through that connection. I haven't tested quality since I havent had the unit for long.

Actually, correct - no fan, no moving parts - but the case acts as a PASSIVE heatsync.

No, this comes with no OS license at all.  I loaded CEntOS on mine and aside from issues seeing the 32GB eMMC (CEntOS 7 doesn't come with eMMC drivers for bootable OS partitions), it's worked very well.
