Pros: It's quiet. It is designed to work when it is as cold as 41 degrees.
Cons: After owning it for 26 months and running in the summer it stopped generating water. It was set to 50 % humidity, not continuous and operating well within it's temp range (41 - 95 F) but it would shut off after a while and display an EC error code. That is a "Unit Malfunction" error code. I noticed the compressor was very hot and there doesn't seem to be any design feature to cool it while it runs. It doesn't have fins or a fan blowing on the compressor.
Pros: Fairly quiet. Easy to set up and use. LED readout shows present humidity. Continuous drain option. Manual timer. Good value for money.
Cons: Once humidity level is reached, the unit shuts off, but only for less than a minute. I would prefer it to cycle off for a longer period of time before coming back on to save electricity. Similarly, my last dehumidifier had a 2 and 4 hour setting where it would run for 2 or 4 hour, then shut off for the same amount of time which I prefer, again, to save electricity.
Pros:
Have had it for a month. Very pleased. Works like a champ. Much quieter than the failed Frigidaire it replaced. Just to test it, I used it initially with the bucket, and found it removed about 3 buckets in a day. Then I connected it to a hose and ran it to my sump pump. Others have commented that the bucket is somewhat flimsy, which is true, but it's not that bad. Also I saw comments that it was not clear how to set the desired humidity level on the keypad. This is due to a design flaw in the keypad labels. The up and down arrows are labeled "Timer". Just ignore the word "Timer", and use the arrows as you would expect to set the humidity level. Of course, if you are using timed mode, then the arrows set the number of hours to run.
For those wondering whether to get the larger capacity, it appears this model and the larger capacity have the same power consumption, therefore the only difference would be the bucket capacity. If you use a hose, get this model instead of the larger one.
Cons: none
Overall Review: The hose adapter requires installation, which is pretty easy. Just pay attention to insert it all the way so it doesn't leak.
Pros: It works. Not very noisy. No tech knowledge required.
Cons:
I quote the owners manual: "Do not put the (condensate) tank on the floor because the bottom of the bucket is uneven. Otherwise the bucket will fall (over) and cause the water to spill." (words in parenthesis added. mb)
Condensate bucket is too small. This unit needs to be piped to a floor drain.
Overall Review:
Between my house and my daughters, I have had experience with five other dehumidifiers. This one does absolutely nothing to distinguish itself from the pack. Hence, three eggs are enough. It will never make it to five eggs until the CON is corrected. how hard could it be to design a bucket with a flat bottom?
This a 50 pint model and yes, it dehumidifies faster than the 35 pint models I have used. Too soon to say how long it will last but typically I have gotten 3 years out of similar units before they got loud or inefficient.

Pros: I've ran it non-stop for a month with no problems at all. No noise increase or noticeable wear with the month of usage. It's been quiet since I plugged it in and started it and even in the turbo fan mode, it's not loud. It pulls a massive amount, maybe even more than it's rating, of moisture out of the air. It was also in the "top 10 best dehumidifiers" consumer reports article. AMERICAN MADE.
Cons: none, whatsoever
Overall Review: I had originally purchased one from the big blue home improvement store. BIG MISTAKE. Then, I went to the orange store. ANOTHER MISTAKE. Each of those units were loud and could barely pull moisture out of the air. This unit is much more quiet and is above and beyond efficient at pulling moisture out of the air. Know that it was rated one of the top ten on consumer reports AND it's American made put the icing on the cake.
Pros: Removes moisture from room pretty quickly.
Cons: GENERATES A TON OF HEAT!! I woke up in the middle of the night, after having the unit on for about 4 hours, and the temperature in the room jumped from 73 degrees to 81 degrees. 8 degrees in 4 hours in a 200 square foot room!! All other rooms in the house stayed at 73 degrees. You can feel the heat blowing out of this thing. Very disappointed.
Overall Review: If I would have known this thing would produce so much heat I never would have bought it.
Pros:
I haven't really use this enough yet. Base on my test run and use it for a day or two during the raining days, I like it. It is quiet. Remove moisture fast, from 70% to 60% maybe in 15 mins.
Like other user said, the package is great. The unit is heavy. My UPS carry it on his shoulder and he literally drop it to the ground. At first, I were a little concern, but everything is fine and working well after I opened it.
Cons: non so far.

Pros: Controls well
Automatic mode worked well
Supports both bucket and drain hose setups
Good stamina
Cons: Plastic feels a bit cheap
Bucket does not come out or go back in easily
Doesn't move enough air
"Filter" is pointless
Overall Review: I got this to keep my basement apartment dry. According to the device's hygrometer it got up to 75% down there which was not good for me or my electronics but very good for bugs and mold... while this was running it dropped to around 45-50 and stayed there. I used a hose to run the output into a floor drain so never had to deal with the bucket. I ran it almost 24/7 the wettest weeks, and I never had issues with it icing up or overheating.
The onboard fan feels anemic. I kept a box fan next to it to "assist." The filter's material is such that it could never trap so much as a single speck of dust... there's NO reason for it to be there, it's so silly. I didn't use the bucket, but when I had to remove it a couple of times it was tippy(no flat bottom) and did not want to go back in the unit. I wouldn't get this if you don't have a drain to run a hose into.
