Versatility is a key feature of this lens, with a reduced Minimum Object Distance (MOD) of 2.2m (86.6 inches), allowing for impressive tele-macro photography and beautiful bokeh effects. The USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive) ring-type motor provides excellent responsiveness and control, significantly improving autofocus speed and accuracy, even when tracking moving subjects.
Stability is enhanced with Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation) system, offering an impressive 4.5 stops of image stabilization.
