Question 1

I had the intent of buying a X99 E WS motherboard from Asus but I did not see it on the compatibility list would this m.2 connector be compatible?

The adapter board itself is not a controller, just an adapter. It is the correct M Key, fits in the length specifications of the Workstation motherboard being approximately 60mm long (2260 form factor), and ASUS lists the WS M.2 slot as PCIe gen 3, so I can't see a reason it will not work.
You may want to research bandwidth sharing and motherboard chips like PLX - if used does that negate the ability to effectively use this adapter for the WS board?

Question 2

For use with the Intel 750 PCIe NVMe 3.0 x4 2.5" SSD (P/N:  SSDPE2MW400G4R5):  When using this adapter with the X99 Deluxe, does it go into the built-in M.2 socket or on the Hyper M.2 x4 card that's included with the X99 Deluxe MB which is then inserted into a PCIe 3.0 x16 slot?  I ask because the builtin M.2 socket is PCIe 2.0 x4, and the Intel 750 add-in card SSD doesn't seem to need this adapter.  (Yes...I realize the question almost answers itself, but I just want to be sure.)  The Intel SSD 2.5" includes a cable to between the SSD and the Adapter.

Looks like you could use either. I have the Sabertooth, and I use the M.2 socket. They both show the same speed (32Gbps) and the description on the Deluxe does say "With a 4 x PCI Express 3.0/2.0 bandwidth, M.2 supports up to 32Gb/s data-transfer speeds."

Socket is 3.0/2.0 speed. I'd just use the on-board adapter instead of the add-in card. Unless of course you need that space for something.

Question 3

Does this card support fan-out cables ?
Can I plug a "mini-SAS to 4x sata fanout cable" into it, and have all 4 hdds recognized by the OS.

I have never heard the term fan out cables before. This adapter specifically makes a connection to PCIe lanes on your motherboard. On My Asus X99 Deluxe it taps into some of the lanes on my PCIe slot number 5. I does not offer any way to "split"/combine connections, If you did wish to use two of the Intel 750's you could use one as a boot drive in either of 3 ways. One is through the M.2 slot, the second would be through the expansion card adapter that you mount the Hyper Kit to and plug into the 1x4 PCIe slot and the third option would be to use an AIO (all in one) card. After doing so, again through one of these methods you could use a second drive as a data drive. I hope this helps.

Question 4

I have the Maximus Impact VII. It is a z97 board that has an extra mPCIe expansion card with an m.2 slot. I was wondering if this hyperkit is compatible with that m.2 slot? As far as I can tell, there shouldn't be any reason it isnt.

According to ASUS's BIOS download page, it supports NVMe after version 2601.

My hyper kit and intel 750 ssd have been connected perfectly, but I can not find enable hyper kit in bios..so is there someone who can answer this problem...or do I need to replace it by a new one since I am pretty sure that other stuff work well?

It's in the PCI-e settings. There's an option that has I think three settings. Slot only, adapter only, or auto.

I have a Hyper Kit and mine is just set to auto with nothing in the slot.

Has anyone used this adapter with the Rampage V extreme looking at it I'm concerned that it will interfere with the a graphics card in the first slot?   Thanks

Will this work with new Z10PE-D8ws for the Intel 750 NVME SSD? It has M.2 slot.

I looked into your motherboard and it appears you should be all set to add an Intel 750 2.5" SSD to your system. Before I set any cash down though, my first stop would be to ASRocks download site to se if they have a new BIOS that will add NVMe support to your system. When I flashed my new upgraded BIOS to my Asus x99 Deluxe to gain the NVMe support, I noticed a new box in the BIOS boot menu that specifically added an NVMe category that was not there previously. It sits above my choices for the settings for my SATA Controller 1 ( I have two controllers, one Intel and one AsMedia).My Intel gives me the choices of ACHI, RAID and Legacy and my ASMedia controller gives me the same choices minus the RAID. With the addition of the M.2 x4 slot being added as an NVMe controller, options for that slots functions now appear. If ASRock does not offer a BIOS update that includes NVMe functionality you most likely will be stuck with the 750 being a Data drive only with no Boot capabilities. If the new update does contain the added functionality you will be good to go. You will need the Intel 750 2.5" Retail drive as it includes the cable necessary for the connection between the drive and the Asus M.2 Hyper Kit. You will also need a SATA power connector from your PSU in the drive area as a SATA connector is pigtailed off the cable supplied with the drive near the connection for the data at the drive.. Install the Hyperkit and it's or Intel's driver for NVMe, make the three connections ( two at the drive and the one at the Hyper Kit) and activate the Hyper Drive controller in the Bios and you should be good to go to either load your OS and data or clone the drive from the original C drive. Enjoy...
