Pros: work great, easy xmp profile setup.
Overall Review: nice ram works well.
Pros: Ran Memtest 86+ ver.4.20 at settings 1600, 9-9-9-24, 1.5 volts
for three passes - 2 hours, 21 minutes with ZERO ERRORS
Then ran Memtest at settings 1866, 10-11-10-30, 1.5 volts
(same as Patriot lists for their 1866)
for one and a half passes - 44 minutes with ZERO ERRORS
Tried setting of 2133, 11-11-11-30, 1.5 volts, but would not post
Overall Review: Some of the prettiest RAM I've seen
Get 1866 RAM (if you are lucky) for the price of 1600
ASRock Z77 Extreme 4, i7-3770K
Pros: Memory performs as it should at the advertised speeds as expected.
Cons: My only gripe is not with the product but rather the company. After getting my rebate declined due to a missing invoice I checked the scanned received documents on their sites. Go figure the invoice is the second page. The representative told me they were unable to verify that this product qualified for this rebate even though I followed the rebate form from Newegg product page. The rebate was for Intel extreme master LE 8GB, invoice clearly says Intel extreme master LE 8GB. The representative eventually put me on hold and then told me they would make an "exception" in my case. I am at least glad to have gotten this sorted as I have never experienced such a problem with any rebate with different companies.
Overall Review: Everything considered the memory performed as it should but the rebate process has seemed to be difficult by a few people. Great buy if you can get it cheap just make sure to follow up on the rebate and circle your products.
Pros: I have this in my ASUS P8Z77-V PRO motherboard, and it runs at 1600MHz without any changes in BIOS. Not too tall, and was a good value with the Shell Shocker deal at $29.99 (assuming I get my $10 rebate back).
Cons: The only thing I really don't care for is that the heatspreader doesn't really look that high quality for having such an impressive name for the product... but it really shouldn't need anything fancy since it probably should only be running at stock speeds.
Overall Review: Not sure if the "Intel Extreme Master" term is a marketing ploy of some sort... I mean, I don't mean to knock it, it's just that this is 1600MHz RAM. You're getting what you're getting. If you want to overclock your RAM, get something rated for higher frequencies. There's really nothing special about this RAM; it just does what it's supposed to do. Plug and play. It works.
Pros: Was on sale, attractive heat spreaders and passes Memtest
Cons: Caused crashes and system instability in a brand new PC with Asus MB and Intel i3. Replaced with my usual brand RAM of the same specifications and the system has been happy since.
Overall Review: Not sure why it will pass Memtest 4.2 for hours on end in the same system that it crashes under windows. Just goes to show that synthetic tests can never duplicate the real world.
Pros: Works as specified, easy install, looks great.
Cons: None as of yet. Will update as necessary.
Overall Review: Bought two of these. Pure awesomeness in a stick. Had previous Patriot RAM sticks last 6 years before first RAM-related BSoD. Buying Patriot from now on.
Pros: Works great with my new install of 64-bit Win 7 Pro. RAM posted fine in the BIOs. No problems with it at all after all this time.
Cons: Nothing since I don't overclock.
Overall Review: Installed in an ASUS P5G41T-M LX PLUS LGA 775 Intel G41 Micro ATX Intel Motherboard since you can't purchase regular sized LGA boards anymore. RAM was compatible and posted fine with the board.
Pros: Great price, Black PCB, Good looking ram sticks that my motherboard liked. Not too tall for my system and I think heat shields might really work for cooling and not just BLING.
Cons: Wish they were also in red color for my BIOSTAR board. Yes I know Patriot has red vengance 3 ram, but they don't say Extreme Masters
Overall Review: Went to buy another 8gb and now out of stock.
