Pros: Large heatsink makes for easy, safe handling and easy install--you don't have to touch the PCB at all. Very fast SSD, measured 2867 MB/s read, 2842 MB/s write, verses 1735 MB/s read, 1526 MB/s write for the 1TB NVMe SSD it replaced. Extremely high endurance, the 2 TB SSD I have is rated at 3115 TBW. Runs cooler than the 1TB NVMe SSD it replaced, so far hasn't gone higher than 122 degrees F under heavy load.
Cons: They don't appear to have any monitoring / status software for the SSD. Not a deal-breaker. If looking at this for a laptop or a space-constrained system, make sure the heatsink won't be too large for your desired use.
Overall Review: Not inexpensive but given the speed and high endurance, I consider it a real value at the sale price that was in effect when I purchased it. This is an amazing SSD.
Pros: -Built in HEATSINK -No over heating that causes the drive to overheat and have performance degradation. -Price, compared to other drives without a heat sink this was a steal. -No issues with windows 10 detecting this at all, I did however still have to go into Disk Management and assign the drive so that I could use it, but you have to do this with every drive you add in windows 10 or at least every drive I have purchased has had to.
Cons: -NONE, you will not be disappointed.
Overall Review: Note I am not using this as my boot drive, I am running applications off of it and it has greatly increased the speed of everything I do. Things that used to take 10-20 seconds to load now are loading within 1-2 seconds most of the time depending on the application. If you are in the market for a good high capacity drive the 2TB model is a steal and would be amazing addition to any system. Just note that if you are transferring files from a HDD to this drive the transfer rate will be limited by the HDD so don't blame it for not performing in those instances.
Pros: 1. Fast read/write speeds. 2. Mounted heatsink included. 3. Sleek design. Upgraded from standard 860 EVO SSD and I'm impressed. Was skeptical @ first being that I never purchased a Patriot product, and second not shore if it would be compatible with my Alienware Aurora R7. But my system did recognized the NVMe just fine and just needed to format. Did clean install using USB 3.0 Flash Drive and Windows installation was completed in less than 5mins. It's read and write speeds is close from advertised. Got this on sale last week. And I'm glad I did. If your buying as an OS drive, 256GB is the sweet spot. But if using for Game installs 1-2TB is recommended depending on your collection.
Cons: 🤔 Ummm, Can't think of any.
Overall Review: Purchase this for my Alienware Aurora R7. Note: Graphic card clips in its PCIe x16 slot, but!, the graphic card will literally sit right ontop of the NVMe heatsink. I have a EVGA GTX 1070SC. For some, it might be a deal but it really isn't as long as the Graphic Card PCIe pin connectors and back plate is mounted in it's positions correctly. If I can show pictures of how it is in my system I would, but Newegg doesn't have that feature. I would definitely recommend this product for any PC build enthusiast.
Pros: Solid SSD with a heat sink blazing Fast 3400m\s read 2300m\s write on cristal disk mark ! runs cool ! been used on a PC with B360 asus strixx mobo with I7-8700 on stocks speeds running just fine and like someone said the best deal on m.2 ssd you can find (ATM)
Cons: None
Overall Review: Highly recommended !
Pros: It is just as fast as thay say easy to install
Cons: NONE
Overall Review: FOR THE PRICE IS THE BEST DEAL OUT THERE
Pros: Super fast OS bootup and programs open super fast. I replaced by 2tb popular SSD drive with this new VPN100 M.2 2280 1TB drive. At first I was concerned with the size of the drive with all the programs I have installed that use up a lot of drive space. That only made me look at the programs and made me realize it was time to remove old programs taking up space that either didn't use or did not need. All games were move over to a spare storage drive I already had installed. This drive is super sturdy and looks great in my computer. That 2TB popular SSD drive will now become my main storage drive so no worries about running out of space.
Cons: No cons found as of the writing of this review
Overall Review: I would highly recommend this drive to anyone who will listen. I would buy it again and only bigger than TB or larger. The only thing I can think of that I would love is to have a Patriot software that handles performance optimization the drive, performing benchmarks on the drive and provide drive details and such.
Pros: Arrived in two business days and works wonderfully in my new computer. No trouble to speak of yet.
Overall Review: Solid choice for an alternative to the Samsung Evo 970. Has similar read and write speeds and cheaper.

Pros: The first thing that you should notice about this drive is it's speed. My actual measurements using ATTO resulted in a read speed of 3,230 and a write speed of 2,850 (not quite as high as published, but real close). Next on the list would be price which is considerably less than units with comparable speed. And last would be temperature and looks. The fact that this drive comes with a heat sink is a bonus. When I was copying lots and lots of files to the drive the temperature I measured was 36 degrees Celsius. It would be my opinion that the heat sink would keep this drive from getting too hot and throttling it's speed. Lastly it looks nice.
Cons: There are a couple of things that need mentioning. First would be the height of the drive. The heatsink adds about 1/2 inch to the drives height. That would be a problem on some motherboards where the GPU sits directly above the M.2 slot. Second, the drive does not come with any software. You have to go to the Patriot website to locate their SSD utility software, but you will have trouble finding it because it is listed in their downloads as firmware. I always make sure that I always have the latest firmware installed so I downloaded it. If I hadn't I probably wouldn't have found the software either.
Overall Review: I am very pleased with this drive and will certainly buy more of their products. If you are looking for a cool drive that is sleek looking and super fast at a very reasonable price look no further. I am quite confident that you will be pleased with this drive.
