Pros: Very strong voltages across the grid. PC Power & Cooling sends a test sheet with their power supplies to show it was tested. Nice heavy duty PS. non-modular design means less resistance through the wires, meaning a longer and stronger life for your computer.

Cons: Since day one, when playing a full screen computer game, the power supply emits a high pitched whine during certain cut scenes, and especially during windows Vista aero assessment. Issued an RMA. Spare wires can be a pain as well, but an empty 3.5 inch bay can usually double as wire storage.

Overall Review: Upon reading up on the problem, I found the whining noise is due to dying capacitors inside the power supply. If the issue is ignored, the power supply will eventually fail, taking every other componet with it. Ive always bought PC P&C power supplies, so one dud isnt going to dissuade me from buying one again. As always newegg came through with the RMA in record time.

Pros: Very nice PS and the power needed to drive my stuff. 6 sata drives, blu-ray and xfx 285, Core i7 as well with 3rd party cooler and 3 system fans.

Cons: Not mod.

Overall Review: Pay close atten to the recomended amp rating for your video card then look at the amp rating on the ps. Most are 24 or so. This one is +12V@64A.

Pros: Google the PC Power & Cooling PPCT860 and you will learn that it is among the top three rated units manufactured. The only decision you need to make is how much power do you need. In my judgment "PC Power & Cooling" is the Lexus of power systems.

Pros: I have spent 2 months reviewing Power Supplies and this one is worth every penny. I build my own systems and I'm inclined to say that quality parts last longer. All of my systems have worked perfect for over 7 years, and the quality of the power supply is the most crucial. The wattage was perfect for a high performing system, no need for over kill.

Pros: Four PCI-E connectors, 2 with 6, 2 withe 8. One 12v bus assures no wasted watts. Comes with same individual testing report on your PSU as the one that ship with the 1000watt. Used in the 2007 CPU Dream machine. Adjustable pots for voltage.

Cons: If you have an old 20 pin ATX you need a $5 adapter

Overall Review: I'm running an EVGA 780i with 2 880 GTX in SLI and 3 seagate 1 terabytes of storage and 2X1 gig corsiar 1066. No votage problems at all. Unless your planning on a large array of Drives or ULTRA GTX's, This is fine, otherwise get the 1000 watt but the price difference caught my eye and the adjustable pots were a favorite with CPU

Overall Review: The GTX 480 can draw up to 440 watts, that will be pushing the envelope if I upgrade to it AND another X5550 (they draw 130 watts each). Add some PSU degradation and it might give problems when fully loaded after a few years. I have a PCP&C 1KW PSU from 3 years ago in another dual xeon system and it's still strong so I have faith.

Pros: Its really hard to rate a PSU, since they all work well until they fail or become inadequate. I can say however that this PSU is as quiet as I have heard, has an unbeatable warranty of 7 years, higher than industry standard MTBF of 200,000 hours, and comes with a test sheet showing how it tested. All of my tested specs are higher than advertised. Constant output of 880W and a peak of 960W. 12V rail (large single rail) is rated at an impressive 62A! More than I will ever need, and more than most people will ever need. Only way you would need more would be if you had a completely overkill system running high OC, most recent dual GPU's (4890 X2 or GTX 285) SLI or Crossfire, water cooling, 3 or 4 HDD's, some extra PCI cards, ect... even then, this would probably handle it. I couldn't ask for more out of a PSU. The build quality is also very nice. Well build case, large switch that feels like it means business, not just a little click, nice size power cable and a strong fan.

Cons: None that I have found yet. If it fails I will let you know.

Overall Review: It runs my system with no problems, and the voltages stay PERFECTLY stable. The only movement in voltage I have is on the 3.3V, which is only a 2/100V variation (1.15V to 1.17V every now and then).
