Well made, larger than a small travel model. All clocks should be made like this, with these lovely options and simple operation.
Mornings are hard for you and a shrieking alarm isn’t a great way to wake up. There’re 7 different alarm sounds from music, to chirping birds, or an ordinary beep:

None of the alarm sounds are harsh or jarring. The great thing is, this is just like using the alarm on your cell phone, without the phone next to you.
The volume control is absolutely perfect. Maybe you wake up much earlier than your families, so this clock is great because you can turn the volume down and it doesn't wake others up, but it wakes you up. Most alarms are just so loud you turn them off immediately and then forget that it even went off.
